While reminiscing about the time I spent with Flavia, I talked to Malik-san about our quest.

I was glad Malik-san didn't press me further after I closed the door on them and escaped to the living room. After giving each of them a goodbye kiss, I was so embarrassed, so much so that I immediately crouched down by the door, trying to contain myself from the sheer embarrassment. I knew Malik-san must be confused but he was kind enough to ignore my weird antics.

Ah, I'm so grateful at how understanding Malik-san is.

After I had recovered from the embarrassment, I went into my room to put my luggage and change into light clothes.

Now that I had completely transformed into my relaxing mode, I sat on the sofa in the living room. I was talking with Malik-san about our quest. Since Malik-san was a good listener, I could keep on going and going to no end.

"A raku, huh.... Well, their appearance is quite unique, right? But they're comfortable to ride around, right?"

"Yes. Especially because of the roof on Flavia's back. It was a very comfortable journey."

Yeah... Raku's table-like body is unique indeed. Monsters come in all sorts of forms but generally speaking, most 'animals' in this world don't look that different from the animals in my original world. That's why I was really surprised to see a Raku in real life. But yeah, just like what Malik-san said, it was a really comfortable journey. It was really convenient that Flavia can run during the day when the sun is at its hottest, especially when we're on a quest.

"I know, right? And so? What about the objective of the quest? How many tails did you get?"

"Umm... We managed to get 56 Desert Lizard's tails. We also gathered other materials too. I'm so excited for tomorrow. I can't wait to sell the stuff we gathered at the guild."

I tried to remember the number of tails we had stored in Fer-san's magic bag. Although our main target was Desert Lizard, but we ended up hunting a lot of other monsters that got attracted by the scent of blood. Thanks to that, we were able to gather a lot of materials.

Sig-san looked really pleased though. It seemed like we would earn a lot of money again this time.

But sometimes... I can't help but to think maybe our party is earning a bit too much... I never buy new equipment or anything like that so all the money I acquired ended up accumulating in my account instead. I do spend a decent amount of money for food but I use our party card for it. We also use our party card to cover the bill when we eat out together.

I'll be using our party card to cover our household expenses in the future as well. It seems I won't ever get the chance to use my personal account.

Well, being able to save up is a good thing too. In our line of profession, we never know what the future might hold for us anyway. For example, I have Malik-san, who has to retire because of his injury.

Also when we get older, there's a possibility that we might not be able to keep working as an adventurer either. Alright. Let's keep saving up! Having more money for our future is always good anyway!

"I see. I have the day shift tomorrow. Nora should be there in the morning. You can have her do the appraisal and purchasing for you."

I see.... That means I can't go to the guild with Malik-san tomorrow...
