"Mnh..."

"Ah, Ren-chan?~ You're up? It's almost time for you to start waking up~"

With a startled gasp, I sat up and opened my eyes.

Chris-san was hugging me while looking down at me. Whenever I slept with the three of them, I would always wake up while being in the embrace of either three of them so I no longer felt surprised by now.

I couldn't look at my surroundings because I was being held tight in Chris-san's arms but it seemed like Fer-san and Sig-san were still asleep because I could hear their gentle snoring.

"Is it already time for us to wake up...?"

"That's right~ It's not sunrise yet but it's about time~"

"....Then I guess I should start preparing breakfast."

It seemed it was still dark outside but we had to start moving before the days get too hot so we needed to start our activities before sunrise.

After talking briefly with Chris-san, I told him that I should start preparing breakfast but Chris-san wouldn't budge. He refused to part with me.

"Chris-san? I can't get up if you don't let me go, you know?"

I squirmed, trying to wriggle myself out but I couldn't escape from Chris-san's constrict. Not only he was larger than me but he was physically stronger too so I was trapped in his arms.

"Hmm?~ Can't I hug you a bit longer?~ Your sleeping face is indeed cute but since we're already awake, I want to take my time staring at your face~"

Chris-san chuckled and with one hand, he brushed aside the bangs that were covering my head. He gave me a sweet kiss on my forehead, smiling happily.

Even though we were in the middle of a quest, but we were spending our time relaxing in the tent. It made me feel strangely happy.

"Just for a little bit, okay?"

"Yeah, until those two wake up."

Chris-san's soft spoken words and the gentle, tender loving mood made me feel giddy with happiness. Until the other two woke up, Chris-san took his time running his fingers through my hair and kissing me all over my face.

When those two woke up, Chris-san obediently let me go so I went out of the tent when I saw Sig-san following me.

"It's still dark outside. I'm going to feed Oscar and the other horse then."

Indeed, the outside was still dark. The sun hadn't risen yet. Sig-san, who went out after me, seemed to share the same thought as me as he mumbled softly. Sig-san ruffled my hair lightly before walking over to the horses.

"The sun will rise in less than 30 minutes. Shall we have a quick breakfast before setting off?"

Fer-san said. Even though he had just woken up, his hair looked surprisingly smooth and neat.

"Yes."

I took out a table set from my magic bag and started preparing breakfast.

Even though it was already summer, but the sun hadn't risen yet so it still felt a bit chilly. Since we want to have a quick breakfast, maybe some sandwiches and hot soup would be good?

If it's not enough, I can always add something more later...

I took out several types of sandwiches and a container of tomato soup from my magic bag. I had bean, mushroom and freshly diced tomato in that soup. I arranged the sandwiches onto a large plate and set the plate on the center of the table. Then, I poured the bean soup into individual soup bowls, one for each person.
