I was relaxing at Malik-san's house when Chris-san and the others came to pick me up at 19:00. When I opened the door to the guild, a large group of people immediately cheered for me in unison. Overwhelmed by their enthusiasm, I stumbled on my feet for a second but luckily, Sig-san was right behind me. He gently supported my back, preventing me from falling flat on the floor.

"Ren-san! The star of tonight's show is here!"

"Fufu~ We're good on our own here. So go ahead."

Tord-san ran to me and grabbed my right hand. He wanted to drag me over to the back. While I was being dragged away, I turned around to see all three of my fiancés smiling softly at me. Chris-san then waved his hand at me, prompting me to go.

I had let my magical beasts loose on our way back home from the royal capital. They were following me, not wanting to be left behind. Altair, who reduced his size to that of a budgerigar parrot, soared leisurely above the people's head. While Spica, who reduced his size to that of a regular cat, gracefully slipped through the gaps between people's feet.

"Alright, alright. Please, sit here."

At the back of the guild, they had already prepared a stage. They probably prepared it when I was relaxing at Malik-san's home. Although I said 'a stage', it was actually just a designated spot with only one chair placed on it. Tord-san urged me to get on the stage and forcibly pressed both of my shoulders so I would be sitting on that chair.

"Eh?! ...Here?!"

Huh? Wai-?! I have to sit on such a conspicuous seat?!

"Everyone! Do you have your drinks in hand?~"

Ignoring my flustered face, Tord-san turned to the crowd and checked if everyone had their drinks in hand. Altair then settled on my shoulder while Spica found a spot he liked near my feet.

"Everyone already got their drinks! Guildmaster, please go ahead!"

Looking around the room, Tord-san confirmed that everyone already had their glass filled with drinks. He then called out to Malik-san. When Malik-san stepped onto the stage, Tord-san then stepped down, giving the limelight to Malik-san.

Ah, turns out Chris-san and the others also have a glass of drink in their hands without me realizing it.

"Nah, I think Ren should speak first. He's tonight's star after all. Come on, Ren, say something."

Malik-san came to the side of the chair I was sitting on and patted my shoulder, encouraging me to say something.

Eh?! I haven't thought of anything to say... Right, everyone is here to celebrate my promotion after all. I have to say something, right?

"Eh?! U-Umm... Everyone, thank you very much for gathering here to celebrate my promotion! I'm very grateful for everyone's presence here! I might be still lacking in all sorts of things but from now on and forever, I will continue to do my best!"

For the time being, I decided to stand up and just speak everything that came to my mind. My speech wasn't great or anything but I was able to speak without any problem. Those were my genuine feelings, I didn't utter a single lie so I guess it was alright.
