Chapter 147: Well, Tha-That's True...

"Welcome back."

We arrived at Fer-san's residence shortly before 20:00. As soon as we reached the gate, Theo-san, who noticed our arrival, bowed his head at us.

Who knows how long he's been waiting there...

"I'm back...? Huh? Why Theo-san is...?"

I responded to his greeting for now but how did he knew we were coming back? I inclined my head to the side in confusion. Right now, I was riding on Viktor with Fer-san.

"Yes. I thought we might have our dinner here so before we were coming back, I borrowed a magic tool at the castle and informed the people here about our arrival."

Seeing how evident my confusion was, Fer-san explained to me. Certainly if Fer-san had informed them beforehand that we would be coming back, they would be able to prepare dinner for us.

"Yes. We've prepared in advance."

Theo-san nodded with a smile. He then gestured for us to go through the gate.

"Ren-kun, shall we get off now?"

"Yes."

Upon entering, Fer-san, who had gotten off first, helped me down from Viktor.

"Please take care of Viktor and the others for us."

"Yes, Sir."

Fer-san and the others handed the reins of the horses to the staff who had rushed over to us. Then, the three of us began walking toward the residence main building with Chris-san holding my right hand and Fer-san holding my left hand.

"Please start preparing dinner after we finish changing our clothes."

"Yes, understood."

Fer-san ordered Theo-san, who was following us from behind. Theo-san was quick to answer. He was indeed a professional in his field.

"Ren-kun, Chris. First thing first, shall we change our clothes? Oh, right. I believe it'd be better if we take a shower as well. We've been playing outside with the children after all so I'm sure we've all sweated a bit. While we can just use 'clean' to get rid of the filth, but we're already at my house after all. Let's make use of this opportunity to take a nice, warm shower."

Fer-san suggested.

Indeed. It would be a waste if we just settled on using 'clean' when we had a nice shower and bath available.

"That's right~ Are the rooms we had when we were here still available though?~"

Agreeing to Fer-san's suggestion, Chris-san then turned his head, asking Theo-san about the room arrangements.

"Yes. We've prepared the same room for all of you."

Theo-san nodded in response. He told us that the same room we had been in before was already prepared for us.

"Thankies~ Let's go, Ren-chan~ Fer, see you later!~"

Smiling, Chris-san then gently pulled my hand. Leading me towards our room. Since Fer-san's room was located in a different direction than us, we parted ways with Fer-san there.

"Here we are, Ren-chan~ I'll see you later~"

"Yes."

After walking for a few minutes, I then parted ways with Chris-san, who had kindly led me to my room. Opening the door, I entered my room.
