"I'm sorry, but can you guys stay in the ring today?"

『Can't be helped then. Alright. If anything happens, make sure to call our name!』

『Okay.』

Before going to pick Sig-san up, I asked Altair and Spica to stay inside the ring today. Ever since we returned to Pedrel, they had been out most of the time. I almost never asked them to get back into the ring but... Since today was a special date between me and Sig-san, it should be alright if I asked them to stay in the ring for today, right?

Of course, I had properly showered them with affection both yesterday and this morning. I snuggled with them to my heart's content and before heading out, I also didn't forget to feed them with my blood.

Now, I don't feel as afraid as I did before when I need to cut my fingertips...

While thinking to myself, I walked toward their house.

"Ren-chan!~ Today's tomatoes are cheap and delicious, you know! Do you want some?"

"Sorry aunty, I need to get somewhere today. I will stop by your shop another time."

The cheerful lady called out to me in a loud voice. She always called out to me whenever I passed by the market. She always recommended really good stuff to me so I often buy groceries at her place. However, I already had plans today so I politely declined her offer.

I could put the groceries in my magic bag first but for some reason, I didn't feel like buying anything when I had somewhere I needed to go to.

"I see, that's fine then... Ahhh.... Are you going out with your husband?"

"Didn't I already tell you that.... We're not married yet, didn't I?"

The older lady quickly switched her mood. She squinted her eyes while grinning from ear to ear. She then playfully tapped my shoulder, looking very amused. I felt like we always had this kind of conversation whenever we met but I still had to remind her that we weren't married yet.

They're my fiancés! There's still another month and a half to go!

"Ahahaha! You're still the same as always. Well, since you didn't say anything about the going out part, that means I hit the mark, right? I hope you will have a great time together!"

She laughed at my words and knocked my back with all of her might.

"Whoa! Geez... I'll be on my way then."

Even though she was only an ordinary middle-aged lady, but she was bigger than me so her slap hurt quite a bit. I couldn't help but to groan a little from the pain.

Maybe I should buy something at her place tomorrow?

"Ren-chan!~ Welcome~"

"Ah, Chris-san!"

Today, I entered their house without knocking again, as if I was coming to my own house. When I stepped into the living room, I saw Chris-san, who wasn't here yesterday, sitting on the sofa. He then welcomed me with a warm smile on his face.

"Fer is out for a quest early in the morning and Sig, he said he's going to change his clothes so he's in his room now. He should be here soon~ Come on Ren-chan~ Come over here~"

"Okay. Did you find any good quest yesterday?"

Chris-san beckoned to me so I obediently walked to the sofa he was sitting on and took a seat to his left. Chris-san's hands then naturally came around my waist as he kissed my head.
