"Haa... It was delicious..."

"Indeed..."

"Fufu~ Thank you for the meal, Ren-kun."

I received the plates from the three of them who had devoured twice as much food as I had. Then, I went to the kitchen to wash the dishes.

It really makes all the cooking feel so worthwhile when I see them eating my food heartily,

"Alright then. I will continue cooking, okay?"

I told them after I finished carrying all the dirty dishes. I put on an apron I had worn earlier and stood in the kitchen to check the condition of the radish I had left to boil.

It seems like the radish is already cooked through. I just need to let it simmer now.

"Is there anything I can help you with, Ren-chan?~"

I was planning to let the chicken simmer together but the pot I was using was too small. I was tiptoeing on my toes, trying to grab a larger pot from the shelf when Chris-san popped his head into the kitchen and offered to help me.

"Hmm.... Yeah. I'm sorry but can you please help me get that one? Maybe we need to get a step stool for the kitchen, huh...."

I lowered my outstretched hand and asked Chris-san to grab the pot from the shelf.

"Oh? This one? Sure, here you go Ren-chan~"

I rarely used this size of pot, hence why I placed it on the top shelf. However, maybe it was a mistake to put it there. It was a bit hard for me to reach for it without a step stool.

Maybe I need to rearrange the dishes and the cooking utensils again. But you know, a pot this size... You won't really use it unless you need to cook a huge batch! This is like the one they use to cook school lunches! Rather than rearranging the dishes, maybe I should just buy a step stool instead.

I pondered to myself while staring at Chris-san who easily grabbed the pot from the top shelf.

"Thank you, Chris-san. And... Well, I just need to use magic to clean it. It's not hard to do. I don't think there's anything else I need help with."

I received the pot with both hands and thanked Chris-san.

Washing the dishes is very easy to do because of a convenient life magic so I really don't have anything else I need help with.

"I see. Well, I'll go take care of William and the others then."

Chris-san said, sounding a bit disappointed.

"I will come too. I guess we will need to hire someone to take care of our horses."

Sig-san joined in with Chris-san. He opened the living room window so he could jump out from the window to reach the horse beasts directly.

The moment I heard the sound of the window opening, a rush of hot air entered the house. The temperature inside the house was kept at a comfortable temperature but it seemed the outside was still sweltering hot even though it was already the ninth month of the year.

"Take care of the horses?"

Sig-san mentioned hiring someone to take care of them.

I thought the three of them are already taking turns to look after the horse so why do they need to hire someone?

"Fufu~ Allow me to explain. Are you good to talk to right now, Ren-kun? Or do you want me to wait until you finish cooking?"

Seeing me tilting my head to the side in confusion, Fer-san offered to explain it to me. He took a seat at a chair behind the counter.
