"Thank you for waiting! I've finished registering you for the quest."

"Take care and have a safe trip!"

Tord-san returned the card after he finished processing the document for us. I quickly returned the card inside my body upon receiving it from Tord-san. He was grinning cheerfully at me so I smiled and bowed to express my gratitude to him and headed back to my fiancés who were waiting behind me.

"Nora-chan, were you the one that accepted that quest for the guild?~"

"No, it was a new employee who started working here recently. It's just......"

Chris-san was asking Nora-san a question. A sharply dressed beauty with glasses and a handsome guy with droopy eyes that practically exuded seductive pheromones... The two of them looked picturesque. In fact, Chris-san looked better together with Nora-san than with me. But if I kept thinking like this, Chris-san would get mad.

So I quickly dispersed the thought away from me and approached them. Upon noticing my arrival, Fer-san immediately came over to me and held my hands.

Nora-san was furrowing her eyebrows, she looked troubled.

"It was me!"

Nora-san was about to say something when a girl jumped at Nora-san from behind. She raised her hand with so much enthusiasm and smiled cheerfully.

"Mia........"

It seemed Nora-san knew who this girl was. She called her name and sighed deeply.

Given the context of their conversation, I guess this girl is the one who accepted that quest?

"Everyone, this is our new employee, Mia. Mia, introduce yourself."

"Yes! My name is Mia and as you can see, I'm a cat beastman! I've been working at the general reception desk for a week now!"

Under Nora-san's urging, the energetic beastman introduced herself. She was a cat beastman, just like Tord-san. Her eyes were golden yellow and she had a fluffy, shoulder length brown hair. She looked pretty young though.

I guess she's not quite an adult yet?

Still, she was a bit taller than me. Rather than 'Mia-san', she looked more like a 'Mia-chan'.

"Mia! Too loud! Speak in a softer voice!"

"Big brother Tord! You're the one who's loud!"

Tord-san yelled angrily from behind the counter. Mia-chan immediately retorted back.

She called him 'big brother' so I guess they're pretty close?

"No matter how you look at it, you're the louder one!"

"What did you say?!"

Tord-san came out from behind the counter. They then began glaring at each other, growling as they argued.

"The two of you, please stop. Mia is Tord's cousin. Because of them, things are getting so noisy everyday...."

Nora quickly put a stop to it by grabbing both of them by their collars.

Yeah, I can definitely see it.... The guild looks more... Energetic to say the least.

"Ah, my apologies. I-"

"Sorry."

"Mia! What's with your attitude?!"

"Ugh! You're so noisy! I've finished my job but what about you? Big brother Tord, you're still working right?! Go back to work then!"
