Flavia had been walking at a leisure pace but the moment we left the village, she suddenly increased her speed and started running. William and the other horses were running at a similar speed to a normal horse, well, maybe a bit faster than a normal horse, but the point was, Flavia was going twice faster than William and the others.

But still, even though she was going so fast, the ride was surprisingly smooth. We didn't get jostled around much.

Wondering why, I gently leaned to the side of Flavia, being careful not to fall as I took a peek at Flavia's feet. There, I saw that only the lower part of her legs were moving at incredible speed. The part from the knee under was shuffling quickly while the upper part remained still.

I didn't know how it worked but despite moving at an incredible speed, but I didn't feel any wind. At the speed we were going, I should be able to feel a strong gust of wind against my face and body. We shouldn't be able to talk leisurely or stand up straight.

Wow, this tent is really amazing... So that's why I didn't feel any wind when I looked down earlier... Wait. Now that I think about it, sticking my face out of a moving vehicle, especially the one going at this speed, would be extremely dangerous... I should refrain from acting impulsively...

After running through the dry, barren land for a while, the firm, slightly cracked surface gradually turned into smooth, sandy terrain. Flavia then came to a sudden stop and let out a cry.

"Then I will cast some support buff. 【Shield】【Might】【Haste】【Magic Barrier】I guess these should do for now..."

Monsters living in the desert areas could hide in the sand and ambush us out of nowhere so I cast support buff on everyone, including Altair and Spica just to be safe.

"Thank you~ It seems that the desert lizards have been spotted near the oases in the south last week. How about if we check that area first?~"

Chris-san said that and so, Sig-san took control of the reins and changed Flavia's direction. We started running at a slightly slower pace than before.
