"I refuse to let any of you to sleep in your rooms" Calum began to say, "We are going to sleep out here in the living room and that's that"

We all whined and groaned as we each grabbed a pillow and blanket from Calum as if he were passing them out to a military camp.

We were all spread out on the floor and couches, and had set out snacks such as crisps, pretzels, soda, and such.

"Where are we supposed to sleep smart one?" Gen asked Calum as she grabbed a pillow and blanket from his arms.

"Where you're sitting" he simply replied, receiving a handful of complaints from the people sitting on the floor and cheers from the people sitting on the sofas.

"This is ridiculous" Michael began to say, "What are we going to do next? Get into pajama onesies and leave milk and cookies for Santa?"

"Oh you're just grumpy because you have to sleep on the floor" I laughed, unfolding my blanket and bringing it over my legs.

Michael stuck his tongue out to me, receiving one of my giggles and slight kick to the head.

I was one of the lucky ones to already be sitting on the couch with Gen, unfortunately the rest of the boys took the floor. Except Calum, Calum called dibs on the small sofa in the corner of the room.

"That actually sounds fun" Luke said, looking to Michael.

"Everything sounds fun to you" Ashton laughed as he threw a pretzel at Luke.

I've never been given the chance to do this before. Usually every Christmas Eve Liam and I would sleep early together and wait for the morning to come. So doing something like sleeping in the living room with your friends came foreign to me.

"I'm turning off the light" Michael said getting up from where he sat and heading to the light switch by Calum's tiny sofa.

"Light that candle will you?" Gen asked Ashton, having him nod and head to the kitchen to get matches.

We spent that night watching old holiday movies and spilling soda and crisps all over the carpet.

After the third movie, it was two in the morning and we decided it was time to go to sleep.

I could hear the slight mumble of snores coming from Luke, hearing him inhale and exhale throughout the night.

I had a hard time sleeping that night. And when I did, all I saw when I closed my eyes was Harry. Which is also the reason I couldn't sleep, I didn't want too.

I tried to tell myself it was because of the excitement of Christmas Morning, but the true reason was because I didn't want to see Harry's face when I closed my eyes.

But of course I drifted to sleep that night, and dreamed of Harry.

Christmas morning wasn't filled with a beautiful morning breakfast and the smell of ginger throughout the house, it was more like a poorly made omelet and the smell of something burning from the heat of outside. But it was still wonderful.

Calum was the first one to wake up, of course, and he made it his mission to wake us all up with a bang, literally.

He grabbed every possible pot and pan in the kitchen and scattered them around the room, and with a metal spoon he ran around banging every pot and pan he passed.

"Calum shut the fuck up!" I heard Michael finally yell, followed by a slight thud.

I slumped up, rubbing the sleep away from my eyes and shifted my vision to Calum who was on the floor with a pillow next to him which I figured was what the thud was.
