I groaned reaching for the nonstop ringing coming from my right according to how I lay on the bed, I brought the phone to my ear sliding my finger over the screen to answer.

"Hello?" I muttered not wanting to open my eyes.

"How does it feel being nineteen?" Liam's voice asked me.

"Doesn't feel different than eighteen, may I ask why you had to ask me this at..." I looked at the digital clock on the nightstand, "six in the morning?"

"It's the only time I have in the morning before class and I didn't get to tell you in person so you get waken up at six in the morning. I love you!" he said cheekily.

I groaned dropping my head down, "I love you too Liam, thank you"

"Happy birthday Vanessa" he chuckled hanging up the phone, I tossed it aside turning over to Harry's side feeling it empty.

I sighed pulling myself out of the bed, the sound of the springs not helping my plan on exiting quietly.

I sleepily walked out the hall seeing Anne and Gemma's doors closed so I had no idea where Harry was if he wasn't in the living room.

Padding into the kitchen I looked for the coffee maker plugging it in and putting in the coffee I had found. I sat on the couch and sighed, where was he?

"I see you've waken up" Gemma walked in sitting next to me, "Where's Harry?"

I shrugged lifting my legs up to get comfortable on the couch, "I have no idea"

"Have you called him?"

"That seems like the plan to go with" I laughed silently getting up to go for my phone.

"Vanessa, hey"

"Where are you?" I asked sitting on the noisy bed.

"Ummm, I went for a jog"

"You don't jog"

"Which is why I decided to start, gym on Sundays just isn't enough for me"

"Harry I don't think you should be doing anything physical until you've fully recovered"

"I'll be fine Ness, I'll be back in a few minutes"

I smiled at the small nickname, "Okay, I've got coffee in the making so hurry before it gets cold"

He chuckled "I'll be there"

I hung up the phone lying back on the bed laughing at the sound, I inhaled looking blankly at the beige ceiling.

Nineteen didn't feel different, I felt like it would but it didn't. I guess it's because I thought I would be in school by now with Liam, but look where I've been led to now. In a boy's childhood room staring at Mick Jagger who looked a lot like an older version of him, and it was scaring me.

I got up looking through the different things in the room, from the posters hung all around to the little figurines he had when he was probably 10 or 12.

I moved to his drawers seeing a number of band t-shirts, I held up the Rolling Stones shirt extending it out in front of me. I tilted my head to it putting it to rest on my arm whilst I looked in my suitcase for a pair of jeans.

I locked myself in the bathroom at the end of the hallway getting the shower ready, and going in.

The day at the hospital did haunt me and I thank God that Harry walked in to save me. I didn't know how they let him out of the room but I lucked out.

It was things like this the shower made me think of, it was my escape. I pulled my hair back in the water when the curtain pulled back and he stepped inside.
