I woke up to the itchy feeling of fabric rubbing against my skin. I slowly opened my eyes squinting at the bright morning light.

After changing into some comfortable sweats I went into the kitchen to set some water to boil. Last night had not went how I planned and right now I was blaming Niall and Zayn and God knows what they did.

I caught the water before if began to whistle so it wouldn't wake Harry up. Dipping the tea bag into the hot water I had put in a cup I walked to Harry smiling at the boy snoring on the couch with our puppy at his feet.

"Babe?" I whispered shaking his hair to wake him up.

He groaned swatting me away making me giggle, "It's almost noon wake up"

He slowly opened his eyes halfway sitting up and thanking me for the cup of tea I gave him.

"I feel like shit" he muttered in a raspy morning voice.

"That's what hangovers are"

He looked over to me with a crooked smile, "Look at you knowing everything about drinking" he chuckled.

I joined him with a giggle looking down at my fingers, "Do you remember what you did after coming home last night?" I asked remembering what he had told me about the candle wax. I looked at his forehead to avoid eye contact.

"It's all a blur" he said setting the cup aside.

"What was the occasion?" I asked taking a sip of his tea I made for him.

"Just a guy's night out, since they think I'm whipped"

I rolled my eyes standing up from where I was kneeled next to him.

"Hey," he said grabbing my wrist, I looked down at the floor because I knew if I looked at his green eyes I would melt and spill everything. "Something's wrong"

"Nothing's wrong" I muttered trying to blink away the anxiety.

"Then why won't you look at me?" he asked tightening his grip on my wrist.

"C-can you let go? You're hurting me" I said pulling away and walking up the three stairs from our living room to our kitchen as fast as I could without having it be noticeable.

"Vanessa" he said sounding hurt and following me.

He spun me around from where I was at the sink grabbing my chin to make me look at him, "I would never hurt you like that, why would you say that?"

I avoided his stare, "I guess I'm just used to saying it is all" I breathed out.

His fingertips grabbed my chin making my face look at his but I wouldn't bring my eyes to him.

"Why won't you look at me?"

I sighed shakily looking at him feeling a sharp pain in my stomach and chest, it felt like being shot a thousand times and I hated it. I choked down the tears. This boy I was madly head over heels for, this boy I hated to see sad...harmed himself. And I couldn't stop him.

I felt my eyes get glossy and I swallowed hard, "Tell me" he said having his eyes turn glossy as well.

"L-last night" I began, "When you came back, you didn't know" I stopped.

"I didn't know what?"

"You didn't know it was me" I laughed to make the tears now coming out from my eye seem okay, "You told me everything Harry, the sadness the candles, the burning"

He breathed in sharply letting go of my waist, he turned away pushing his hair back, "I'm so sorry" I whispered.

"Why are you sorry?" he chuckled nervously, "It's me Ness, it's all my fault" he choked.
