I had completely forgot about the deal with Harry I had made. And when I got back to Liam's dorm dripping wet I was trying to figure out what to tell him.
"You know I could've let you worn my clothes" Harry said when I got out of my car.
"Then what would you wear?" I asked sighing at the wet leather seat in my car.
"I'm fine with nothing" he smirked.
I rolled my eyes, "Wait here" I said jogging up to Liam's door.
I bent my knees down taking the key from underneath the mat and inserting it to the knob.
I tiptoed silently closing the door and going down the hall into Liam's room.
I opened the door climbing into his bed and shaking him awake.
"Why?" he groaned sleepily. He reached over grabbing the top of my head. "Is there a reason you're wet?"
I giggled scooting back so he can sit up.
"I went for a little swim"
"At night, in the cold, with your clothes?"
I shrugged, "Hey, listen uh...I found somewhere to live..." I bit down on my bottom lip.
"Vanessa that's great!" he reached his arms over to hug me. "When do you leave?"
"Tonight?"
"What?" he looked hurt.
"Or in the morning!"
"No no, it's fine. But I will miss living with you"
"I think that's what's most being worried about now"
He nodded patting his lap for me to sit in, "I don't care if you're soaking in water come here"
I crawled on top of him pushing my wet hair out of my face.
"Where are you going to move?"
"Not too far. A few blocks from here"
He leaned back furrowing his eyebrows at me, "But there weren't any open flats in Wolverhampton"
"Eh, I found one I'm absolutely in love with"
He smiled, "Good" we sat there in the dark until he spoke up, "Do you remember that quote in your book. ''Farewell' is a word that, in any language, is full of sorrow. It is that promises absolutely nothing?"
"Of course I do"
"Well in this case, it isn't full of sorrow"
"You act as if I'll never see you again" I giggled looking up at him.
He shrugged, "It'll seem like it when I'm away from you"
I smiled holding up my pinky for him, "We won't grow apart" I said.
He held his pinky out intertwining it with mine, "You should get going if you're moving in tonight"
I looked over at his wall clock nodding, I got off him going into the guest bedroom grabbing the clothes I had in there and everything I had packing them into the suitcase I had. I took the backpack from under the bed stuffing it with my jewelry and accessories.
"Where's Sophia?" I asked Liam who was standing by the hall offering to carry one of my bags but having me shake my head.
"She had to stay late after class to finish an assignment she'll be back in like an hour"
"Okay, I set the suitcase by the door way, "Tell her I say goodbye" I hugged Liam tightly not wanting to let go.
"Be careful, pay taxes, watch your bills, don't waste water"
