Liam had told me that Gran replied to his email the next day after sending it, so it was official! We planned on leaving Wolverhampton hopefully by the end of this week with Sophia and Gen...not Harry.
I sort of just gave up on trying to convince him to go. I knew he wasn't going to, he knew he wasn't going to go. And that was that. And I knew he didn't appreciate me planning to leave within his presence.
"I need to bring sheet covers and blankets" I said going into our closet remembering we kept them in the hallway one.
"Why?" he asked reaching for the pillow I was trying to get.
"Because" I said, "What if she doesn't have any?"
"I'm pretty sure she would"
"I'm just being cautious" I told him taking the pillow from his arm.
He muttered something I didn't hear, I shook it away placing the blankets and pillows in a separate bag.
I had told Candace that I was going to be out for the time being in America so she shaved off this week as well to give me time to get ready for the trip, but I've never left Wolverhampton except for the time I went with Cheshire with Harry. My point was, I didn't know what to bring or what to pack.
"What's the weather like in Florida?" I asked Harry not knowing what clothes to take.
"Extremely cold" he said having his snicker give him away.
"That's not funny" I said taking out all my summer clothing even though summer here is probably winter there.
Harry didn't respond, he just sat back grabbing his new book from the nightstand and opening it to the last page he left off. He told me it was by the same author from the book he lent me, which made me want to sneak it to Florida with me.
I sighed going back into the closet to get a variety of crop tops and shorts. I know Harry didn't want me to go, but sometimes he makes me feel bad about going.
After pre-packing my stuff and going over my passport a million more times I lied on the bed where Harry was still reading his book.
"Tired?" he asked keeping his eyes on the pages.
I nodded pushing my hair away from my face when sitting up, "It seems surreal" I said.
"Then don't go"
"I didn't mean it like that, it's just that I've never left the UK before"
Again, no answer.
I sighed grabbing my own book and going into deep silence.
The rest of the week went with a bore. My brother and I continued to plan and Gen took me to the shopping center to get things, which meant clothing, for America.
Since I've never been in a place higher than 23°C at the least, I had no idea what to wear or take.
I searched up online and asked plenty of people what it was like in Florida. All, but Harry, said it's the weather from hell.
"Just take those shirts I like" Harry said as we stood at the island at the kitchen eating leftovers "They look like summer clothing"
"I thought those were just for you?" I giggled.
He sighed looking over to me, "First you say they're not then you say they are, you're a very confusing girl Vanessa Payne"
I laughed again, "No I'm not! I just change my mind a lot" I told him.
"I know" he said, forcing himself not to smile, "But sometimes, that's what I fear most of you"
I knitted my eyebrows watching him grab his plate and put it in the sink.
