The headache that greeted me in the morning was something I'll never try to go through again.
I groaned, reaching for the glass of water I thought I set out feeling nothing in my hands. I groaned again having to get up from the bed that engulfed me and pad the the closed bedroom door.
I walked over the cold wooden floor tingling at the skin of my feet and into the kitchen where I guessed the glasses would be.
Without luck, I managed to pull a pot out of one of the cabinets and filled it with water.
Remembering where the aspirin was kept, I took the bottle out taking out two tablets and popping them in my mouth and held up the pot to my lips.
The weight being to heavy for me to carry made the water slowly drip off my chin.
"Why?" I whined putting the pot down.
I heard a chuckle echo throughout the room making me turn my head to see Ashton sat at the bar counter gladly enjoying his slice of toast.
"Good morning" he laughed taking a bite of his breakfast.
"Good morning" I muttered in embarrassment, "How long have you been sitting there?"
"The entire time" he answered with an amused smile on his face.
I laughed nervously, picking the pot back up and pouring out the left over water.
"You're funny when you're hungover" Ashton chuckled, "I'm guessing you don't drink often?"
"I don't" I groaned, "And now I understand why, this headache is slowly eating me away"
"That happens"
"How are you not hungover as well?" I asked, walking over and leaning against the bar he sat at.
"I didn't drink nearly as much as you did" he told me, "And you drank quite a lot"
"Urgh" I slumped over the cool marble counter which felt good on my skin, "That's the last time I drink away my problems"
"What we're the problems you were tying to drink away?" he asked me with furrowed eyebrows.
I shook my head, "They're not important" I assured with a smile, "So, what are we going to do today?"
Ashton shrugged, picking up his plate and walking around to the sink.
"Whatever you want to do" he told me as he washed his plate.
"Can we go to the cliffs?" I asked with batted eyelashes.
With a chuckle he agreed, "Just you and me?"
"Just you and me" I smiled.
~ Harry's _ POV +
Niall and I sat at an old restaurant we used to go to when we were younger. He would always ask for a chocolate milkshake, Zayn would ask for a strawberry, and I would ask for vanilla and then we would mix them together and call it the Trio Special since at the time that was the best name we could come up with.
But we didn't do that today, which made me realise how long it's been.
"Respond to her mate" Niall said to me as he squeezed ketchup into his food.
"What will I send her? A picture of me wanking in bed and have it say 'miss you xx'?" I responded taking the ketchup from him and squeezing it over my chips.
"What else?" he laughed taking one of my chips and having me glare at him, "Just trying to help, Haz" Niall snickered.
"Well you're not. Niall, she is sending me postcards of her trip with her friends and showing me how she is better off without me. How am I supposed to respond to that?"
