The next day was full of apologies we'd spit out at random when we'd remember something we did.

"I'm sorry about New Years"

"I'm sorry for calling you a monster"

"I'm sorry for being a monster"

We talked about why he always lashed out, and about his insecurity. Then we discovered that we both shared that trait and vowed to seek some kind of help.

The day after that, we decided to wait a while before he moved back in, although all his stuff remained here and all his mail was sent here, we figured it was the best plan. But that didn't stop him from coming over.

Harry and I laid on the new couch we had placed in the never used dining room, with me between his legs as he fiddled with my hand and fingers.

I was staring at our feet at the end of the cushions, him rubbing his socks against my cold bare feet.

"What are you thinking about?" he asked lacing his fingers into mine, holding my hand tightly.

I shrugged, "This and that" I answered, "Us" I looked up to meet his eyes.

"What about us?" he asked tilting his head down.

I shifted on his chest to sit up, "It's just, we've been through so much" I explained, "I've been through so much"

He waited for me to continue.

"Harry, everything that's happened. All of it? Is it over?"

He breathed in looking down at me, "I don't know" he finally said, "You never know"

"What about everything that happened to us?" I asked biting my lip.

"I know one thing for sure" he told me tightening his grip on my hand, "They're going to have to pry me away from you" he said, "I'm not letting you get away as easily anymore"

I gave him a slight smile stretching up to meet my lips to his.

"I love you" I told him without any doubt or pressure.

He smiled wrapping his arm around my shoulders, "I know" he smirked kissing my forehead, "I love you"

"You know" he began, "With what you've been through, and what your life's become. You can write one hell of a book"

I laughed looking up at him with a strange look.

"I'm serious Vanessa" he said.

I straightened my features, "I don't know, I've never written a book" I told him.

"Doesn't matter" he said, "With that smashing paper you wrote, I know you can do it"

I picked at my fingernails, thinking of pros and cons to this.

"Okay" I agreed, "On one condition"

He raised his eyebrows giving me a mischievous grin, "Go ahead"

"You have to help me write it" I said.

"What?"

"Help me write it" I repeated, "I need your point of view of the story, I want you to help me write this book"

"Vanessa, I can't write a book"

"Doesn't matter" I said what he told me, "I know you can write it"

He playfully glared at me, "Fine" he gave in.

We sat in some more pleasurable silence, before one topic swam throughout my head.

"I think you should apologise" I told Harry.
