My first day not having to worry about the struggles of high school, but now I have to worry about trying to get into a good university, preferably Liam's. I climbed out of my small twin bed and to the old computer turning it on. I watched the small circle turn and turn for the next 6 or 7 minutes before grunting and kicking the damned virus infected thing under my desk.

"Breakfast!" I heard Liam call from downstairs.

I blew the strand of my bangs out of my face kneeling on the floor next to my chair before getting up and walking out into the hallway. I took my time walking down each step.

"Morning!" he beamed setting a plate of pancakes and bacon followed by a bottle of syrup where I usually sit at the table. I took my seat and placed the maroon cloth on my lap. I looked over to the empty seat next to me inhaling deeply.

We always left a spot for dad just in case he was there in the morning, but as always he never was.

"He's out" I muttered shifting in my seat, and grabbing my fork.

"He's been out" Liam added, his mood dropping 100 degrees.

Ever since our mum left us dad has been out all night and all day until it was at least 6 pm to pig out on our food and brake all our china drunk out of his mind with Oliver.

I cringed at the name losing my appetite, I sighed pushing my plate away.

"I'm going out today" I looked up at Liam for an approval.

He raised his eyebrows, looking over to me, "Out where?" he asked.

I shrugged, "I want to get ready, to leave this place"

He hesitated before speaking, "Okay, just be safe okay?" he answered making me smile and ditch the food on the table to get ready.

I've been planning this day for as long as I can remember, I hated the fact of moving out with Liam but I just graduated and it was time for me to start looking for places to live other than this dreadful house. Liam already had an dorm at his school but only stayed at that house for me and it was about time I started thinking about going off on my own.

I got ready dressing myself in jeans and a light powder pink T-shirt and topping it off with small flower in my hair grabbing my bag and rushing down the stairs.

"I'll be back later" I yelled for Liam through the house and walked out. Walking down the driveway I put my sunglasses on and jumped inside the small car.

Before starting the car I fiddled with the ring on my finger, I reached down to my bag and shoved my hand inside feeling the old pages of the book then putting the bag in the back seat.

I pressed the key in the ignition and began to back out, I was going to drive around looking closely for the 'For Rent' signs usually seen in front of flat buildings.

After driving a few blocks I parked the car and decided to just walk around and buy a couple things to start off with.

Walking a few blocks more I stopped in front a small store that read Cambridge. I went into an antique shop having flashbacks that wouldn't stop coming back. I sniffled and walked down the isles having something catch my eye. A small jewelry box topped with a rose, blood red, I picked it up and it instantly reminded me of my collection of bracelets and necklaces. I eyed it carefully holding it with so much care.

"A beauty isn't it?" someone startled me from behind.

I quickly turned seeing a woman that seemed to have been here for a long time.

"Yes" I turned my attention back to the box "Very"

"I can have it wrapped up for you" she smiled warmly.

"Oh no" I put it back down "I wouldn't be able to afford it"

"Oh, I can give you a discount on it" she offered, I tilted my head "A pretty girl deserves a pretty object doesn't she?"

"Oh, I'm not pretty" I blushed.

She just looked at me making me feel more insecure, like she was looking for my imperfections which were going overboard at the moment.

"Are you sure you don't want it? You seem to love it! I'll call the cashier over" she said turning before I can protest.

I stayed there hoping she didn't wrap the thing up, I couldn't afford it and I wasn't going to let her give it to me for free.

"Erm, is there a box up front for you?"

I looked over and gasped seeing him.

"Wh-who are you?" I asked stepping away.

"Umm?" he furrowed his eyebrows "Look. Your item his holding up the damn line either you buy it or not"

I raised my eyebrow at him and crossed my arms "Excuse me?"

"You heard me"

"Well I'm not buying, the very nice lady offered to give it to me but I can't afford it" I answered going back to the shelf of knick knacks.

"I didn't ask" I heard him mumble to himself before walking back. I scoffed and rolled my eyes picking up a small plastic needle smiling at it reminding me of Desperaux and his little sword.

I put it back and decided to leave before bumping into the rude boy, but just my luck he got at the door just as I did.

"Excuse me" he muttered sliding passed me making me drop my purse having all my things all out.

"Thanks a lot!" I said crouching down, the first thing I go for is my book.

"I'm sorry, God" he reached for it as I did making our pinkies touch. I pulled away after a shock went through, literally.

"Ow" he said shaking his hand and grabbing the book with the other hand.

I grabbed my purse and chapstick and stood up.

"Aren't you a bit old to be reading this?" he asked going through the pages.

I snatched it out of his hands and glared at him. He raised his hands in defense and gave me my cell phone as I began to walk. I turned to where my car was parked when I realized he was following me.

"Do you mind?" I turned around to face him.

"What the hell are you talking about?"

"You're following me!"

"No I'm not, my car is right there smartass" he pointed to the car behind mine.

"Oh"

"Oh" he mocked me, "And you dropped this" he handed me a piece off paper.

I took it as he walked behind me and into his car. I waited for him to drive away before climbing into my own gripping to the wheel.

All I could think of was what was a guy like him doing in an antique shop? He was the same boy from the other day, I thought I would never see him again yet there he was and I wish I hadn't met him.

"Ahh!" I groaned throwing the bag behind my shoulder with a thud and opened the paper he said fell out of my purse. I had to read it at least ten times to understand it.

Call me sometime, Harry.

Underneath was a row of numbers, what?

Too much stress. I placed the piece of paper on my dashboard and began to drive. At a red light my phone dinged, I reached back to grab it seeing an unknown number.

I see your license plate, now I can find out where you live ;) -H

I looked at my review mirror seeing him wink at me, I gripped harder to the wheel to the point where my knuckles were white.

How can someone be rude one minute and flirty the next?
