Daisy's POV

"I shouldn't be doing this," Cisca says next to me and I roll my eyes as I get comfy in the seat, barely able to keep the smile off my face as I look over fondly at the woman who has been looking after me since my mum left earlier in the week. She honestly didn't have to come out but she'd just arrived on the doorstep with a smile and the childhood familiarity that I was really craving. She still made sure to drive me to all my meetings but she also drove me to the beach and to Nice so that I could see something other than the Marina of Monaco. Now... it was my turn to do something for her. "He doesn't like surprises..." she reminds me and I just ignore the words as I seek to reassure her.

"Live a little... besides, you shouldn't have to miss this," I remind her, using one of the many persuasive arguments I'd relayed to convince her to do this. "He'll be happy," I promise her, thanking the stewardess that comes over to us, glasses of champagne on her tray. I take both of them, ignoring Cisca's look of horror as I once more motion for her to relax and press one into her hand. "They're not for me. You need to relax," I tell her cheekily as I put the other one in the drinks pocket of her chair and recline my airplane seat a little further to get comfortable. "This is so safe, he can't get angry with us. We're flying private, it's very comfortable, there's no press or people to see us - besides, the deal with the hospital was I needed to be checked on for two weeks by one of their doctors - I'm doing them two better by bringing Valerie with us!" I remind her of the dark haired doctor sitting across the aisle of the private jet, looking around in awe before sensing we're talking about her and waving shyly across the aisle.

God knows why she's shy when she's seen me naked but who am I to judge. She was honestly so lovely and hilarious when you got to know her - which I did after my mum successfully forced her to watch the amazing COTA GP with us last weekend. Unfortunately for me she had said she wanted to monitor me for a further two weeks, not that I have quite disclosed that to Cisca... but moving on because fortunately for me... my job is to be persuasive. So somehow I got her and the hospital to agree that she could come with us for the GP this weekend and stay for another week after that.

"But he said you weren't to leave Monaco..." Cisca says, relaying the strict instructions that she had already helped me to break a couple of times, successfully downing the glass in her hand before looking back at me while I look impressed and a little amused at her.

"He's not a doctor. My doctor says it's fine," I respond, placing a hand over hers, trying to calm her as I show her that I'm not worried. I press a quick kiss to her cheek, trying to show her that it's fine but it's a little difficult because her eyes look so similar to Lando's that it's quite off putting.

"Well I mean it's not advised... I'm only here because you said you were going whether or not I came. The hospital figured it was the best solution as we do offer private care and I'm qualified," Valerie answers a question I hadn't asked and I cringe as Cisca downs the second glass and shakes her head at me, annoyed but not stopping the plane from taking off. I motion for the stewardess to bring the bottle back to me and just pass it straight to Cisca who thanks me and pours herself another glass before downing it.

Okay... so I might have lied to her a little bit.

"Cisca... I was going crazy, you know me. I can't just sit still. That's the longest I've gone without getting on a flight since I was like eighteen! Plus, he wants to sign the contract this weekend with McLaren. I can't just watch him do that from the other side of the world... I've worked too hard over the last couple of years to let a few stupid mistakes keep me from this," I beg her quietly to work with me. Immediately she softens, nodding and just when I think she might be relaxed, she raises the bottle of champagne to her lips and drinks it straight from it. I whoop in shock as she gulps down a good amount of the expensive sparkling liquid before looking at me.
