Daisy's POV

"Daisy..." Lando's voice is so gentle, I don't think I've ever heard him sound like that. It's as though I can feel it within the water droplets. Each one echoed the word again, the love. While the water keeps running, repeating his sentiment, his words run out after my name as I look up at him, frozen in anticipation. It seems that he is as well, as overtaken by the moment as I am. My hands snake up from his neck to run through his hair although the new run haircut had removed the normal area that I use to grip and bring him close. I don't really need it though, his lips gravitate back towards mine, softly kissing me as the next moody love song plays in the background, words not audible as the sensation of his touch is the only thing I'm forced to focus on. Even my own scared heart beating beneath my ribs is an afterthought as he kisses me just out of the running water to prevent us from being waterboarded.

"Do you want me?" I whisper against his lips, not pulling away too far away but I feel him freeze under my hands when the question is asked. "Lando."

"You know I do," he groans, trying to pull away as he rests his forehead against mine, chest heaving up and down as he tries to calm himself. However, given how closely our bodies are pressed together, I can guarantee that he isn't successful. The question was more rhetorical than anything because I can feel that he definitely does want me, the member pressed hard against my stomach is a clear testament to that. My previous insecurities disappear in a second as I take an expectant glance down before looking back at him, letting him know that I know before I lean in once more, moving up onto my tiptoes to try and get closer to him still. There's a wry smile on his face as I lick my lips and we look at each other, his perfect lips slightly swollen and opening with a word designed by God to only drive me insane. "Bu-"

"No buts... not anymore. If you love me, truly, deeply in the way that means forever then please... please show me," I ask him back, my head moving with his to keep his eyes on mine, my fingers caressing his face carefully. The water is loud around us, now too loud and too distracting as I use one hand to switch the shower off, stepping in closer partly for warmth and also to make my point. "I want you to show me," I explain to him as I guide him out of the shower, both of us dripping lightly from our hair but I ignore that easily because the look in his eyes is all I can focus on. It's as though I'm feeding off of it, my fingers moving to cup his cheek so he might be able to focus on the meaning behind my words. "Lando please... show me, make me feel the love you've promised me you have. I believe you, I-I do... just a little part of me still needs to be convinced... so show me. Show me how good it feels to be loved by you... show me that this is it. That this is true and forever because I'm yours... and you're mine."

The words are pathetic and they're not the ones I'd rehearsed in my mind - I wasn't expecting to need that many. However, as awkward as I felt saying them, they seem to have an effect, the light in Lando's eyes switching as he finally understands what I'm saying.

"Are you su-" he's not even able to get the whole sentence out before I interrupt him, using every bit of strength I possess in my body to not jump him there and then.

"Show me."

There's a moment longer of hesitation, fingers curling and gripping the back of my neck before he finally swoops in. Lips crashing down onto mine as I find that his hands are everywhere and nowhere all at once. They jump from my hair, down to my legs, back and waist in mere milliseconds as he can't seem to decide what it is that he wants.
