Daisy's POV
"Daisy there's a parcel for you!" Lando yells from outside my room and I finish the email I'm currently typing while sat on my bed before walking to my door to find the driver in question with Ash in the hallway outside the room. As soon as I see him my eyes light up and they jump between the box in Lando's hands and the camera in Ash's.
"Ah! Oh God! Are you filming?" I ask and Ash nods as I excitedly clap my hands together. "Amazingggg! Your fans will want to see this! Follow me!" I tell the pair as I pull the box from Lando and walk backwards into my room, both of them doing as I say and when I set the box down on my bed I get so excited that I temporarily lose my train of thought a little bit. "Lando you won't be interested in this but your fans will - some of them. This is for the fashion inclined!" I tell him with a grin and watch as Lando just chuckles at my enthusiasm and sits next to where I had left the box on my bed, closing my laptop and moving it to my bedside table. "I need some water first though," I tell the pair distractedly as I notice my reflection in the mirror, my skin looking a little dry as the headache I was just thinking about makes it's way back to the surface.
Without another word I walk out of the room and Ash pauses before following me.
"I'm hijacking the vlog..." I say with a grin as I look directly at the camera. "And while I have you I shall impart some wisdom that Lando is severely lacking! Rule number one for life is eye contact. All the time, especially at work! No one likes it but it's huge especially as an agent," I tell Ash as I look into the lens and motion between it and me. "Never look away first and you're in control but don't do it like an F1 driver. Remember to blink... race car drivers don't blink and it's weird" I say, immediately whizzing from the living room and into the kitchen as I go through the cabinets before getting an ice cream and walking back to my room. "Rule number two, don't take judgement from those whom you wouldn't ask for advice. People are always going to have opinions but remember they only matter if they're from the right people!"
"Daisy?" Lando says questioningly when he sees me again. I smile as I see that he's now more comfortably sitting at the top of my bed, with pillows arranged around himself to help in the endeavour for comfort, as though he's on a throne.
"Yeah?" I ask confused as I stand next to the bed, watching Ash move around a little bit before looking back at Lando.
"Water?" He prompts with an amused yet slightly concerned smile on his face and I shrug as I open the ice cream, having now moved on from my previous search. "Okay then - let's do this!" Lando says sitting up and I just shake my head as I make some space to sit next to him - shooing him to cross his legs so that I can sit where I was before.
"No not yet, I have an ice cream..." I say as though it's obvious and he instantly sighs although stays smiling softly at me.
"You're a little all over the place," Lando comments as I lean over, grab my laptop and open it on top of the box. I glance at him before checking through the tabs open. Without a real interest in debating the statement I lazily hum in agreement as I choose a random interview on YouTube that happens to have Daniel Ricciardo in it. "Oh it's Daniel!" Lando points out, now as distracted as I am while he moves to settle in next to me. I just grin at him while remembering the fun at the beach club the day after Monaco.
"Oooh - where's the Enchanté jumper? I want it!" I ask Lando who shakes his head incredulously but gets up immediately, leaving the room before returning promptly in a few moments, jumper in hand. "Yay! Although I probably shouldn't wear it with the unboxing... anyways..." I put the jumper in my lap, still sitting cross-legged on my bed as he just laughs and moves to sit against the back of the bed, legs stretched out over mine as he raises his eyebrows at me, hands behind his head.
