Chapter 37: Free for All

Touya jumped off Machia in the direction of his family, igniting his entire body in blue flames. He intended to kill them with Endeavor's main move, Prominence Burn. He nearly succeeded, but a surprising appearance stopped him. The number 3 Hero, Best Jeanest, wrapped all the Villains present aside from the Nomu in heavy steal threaded rope. This included Machia.

The reason why everyone was surprised was because it was believed that Hawk showed Touya his dead body to gain his trust. It seemed that this was a clever plan made up by the top Heroes however. Spinner realized that they would all be done for if Shigaraki didn't wake up and give an order to Machia. He tried biting his head to wake him up, but to no avail. Miyako noticed a third year UA student approaching them, Hero name: Nejire-Chan.

Thankfully, Touya managed to burn the threads holding him down, and shot a massive blue flame at the student. As Touya looked on, he had a crazed grin painted upon his face. One that held both pain, hatred, and joy all in one.

Miyako couldn't help but relate to how Touya was feeling, as she was also abandoned. Miyako heard a hushed voice as she struggled to look at Shigaraki behind her. She saw that he was semi awake, and ordered Machia simply to destroy. With this order, Machia began trying to force his way out of Best Jeanest's hold. The Nomu from the hospital were also rushing towards Shigaraki, when another 3rd year UA student arrived, Hero name: Lemillion.

He was phasing through the Nomu like nothing, that's when Miyako remembered something from her research.
"Right, his Quirk makes it to where he can phase through anything. How the hell do we fight someone we can't hit?" Miyako asked herself as the cords holding her got tighter, causing her to cough up blood. Miyako was rushing to think of a plan when something came to mind. Her blood was scattered about Machia's back, meaning she could use it to cut everyone free. Machia began to escape, but was knocked down by Endeavor. Realizing the sedative had kicked in, Miyako hurried to cut everyone free. Before she succeeded, her, along with Spinner and Shigaraki, were compressed by Compress's Quirk. Compress revealed his face, but was swiftly defeated by Lemillion. Before he passed out though, he undid his Quirk, returning his friends to normal. The Hero in training rushed towards where the others were, ready to finish them. That's when Miyako set off her plan. She knew Lemillion would need to deactivate his Quirk to hit them, so she waited. Once he was just about to hit Shigaraki, Miyako erected a barrage of spikes, injuring the student. As soon as this happened, Spinner put Shigaraki's last remaining disembodied hand on his face, fully awakening him.

He shot off a massive EMF blast, knocking down all the Heroes in the area. Miyako was happy for a second before a sense of fear loomed over her. It was Shigaraki's body, but it wasn't Shigaraki who was in control. It was All For One.
"You did well Miyako and Iguchi, but now it is time to retreat." All For One stated as the Nomu grabbed Miyako, Spinner, Touya, and Skeptic. Leaving Compress and Machia behind. The first year student Deku tried to stop them, but ultimately failed. Some Heroes tried to stop them, but only 3 of the 10 Nomu were brought down. The Villains, and the remaining 7 Nomu, managed to escape without a trace.
