*Y/N'S POV*
"What is it with you and small spaces?" My dad asked Nate, squirming uncomfortably. He had a look of annoyance on his face. My mind thought back to where my dad originally wanted to hide, which was not nearly this small and cramped. I was practically on top of Nate with how little space there was.
"I got this thing jamming up my ass." Nate groaned as he pulled a glass bottle out from underneath him. "Wow."
"Don't even think about it, Nate." I rolled my eyes. I knew he wanted to try it. That was Nate's thing. After all, he was a bartender.
He looked at me and smiled his big cocky smile. "Oh I'm thinking about it." He opened yup the lid and took a swig of it. "Oh my go-"
The ship started swaying as Nate coughed on whatever he had just put into his mouth, and i let out a small yelp.
My dad clamped his hand over my mouth as Nate shushed me. My eyes were wide.
My dad slowly moved his hand off my mouth, and pushed on the top of the lid, opening it a small crack. After checking the surroundings to make sure the coast was clear, he hopped out.
Nate didn't hesitate before jumping out, holding out his hand to me, and helping me out. I jumped out, and my ears were filled with the distant sounds of shouting and bags and gold chains and coins of sorts being tossed back and forth.
"Nate, are they out there? What if they see us?" I asked, my eyes wide with worry.
Nate looked over at me with a reassuring look on his face. "Y/n, it'll be okay. They won't see us as long as we're hidden well and stay quiet. Just follow me and Sully, okay?"
I nodded and grabbed the necklace around my neck as my stomach did flips.
"...Sully's a cockroach when it comes to gold." I stopped at the sound of my father's name coming out of her mouth. As much as i disliked my father, it pained me to hear people talking about him in such a way.
"Y/n, come on!" Nate whisper-yelled, beckoning for me to follow. I peeked through the window of the ship to see Braddock's back faced towards me. Let's just say if looks could kill, she would be dead.
We slowly crept through the ship, looking for a way out when we all stopped, listening to the sound of helicopters above us. I started to panic. Helicopters? Was this really necessary?
"Oh, Jees. She's flying the ships out?" My dad looked up through the top of the ship, fuming with anger and fear. "And us with them. Shit!"
Nate, his hand still in mine, walked up behind him and looked up as well. "What do you mean she's flying us out?"
The ship wobbled as it was flown into the air. My stomach was in knots as i looked out the window. It turned and i wobbled a little, and my hand grabbed onto the nearest thing, which just so happened to be Nate. "Shit!"
My stomach was uneasy as Nate sat me down. I breathed unsteadily, trying to remember when i had picked up on a fear of heights.
"Jees Sully, come on. The boat's full of that stuff." Nate said, watching my dad fill his bag with loads of gold he found lying on the table.
"Just in case." My dad replied.
Nate walked over to a display of weapons of sorts on the wall and started pulling some off, finding which would be perfect for whatever he was going to use it for.
"Nate, what are..." my tongue got caught in my words as i tried to get them out. "What are you going to u-use that for?"
"Doesn't matter, it'll be fine." He attempted to reassure me, but failed. I didn't feel reassured. He turned to my dad, showing him the weapon he had chosen. "Hey, wanna go show them what's what?" Nate had a proud look on his face, thinking my dad would follow his thoughts.
"Ah, that's nice. Let me see it?" Sully grabbed the weapon and took it with him, leaving Nate sighing, and having to find a new weapon.
I stood up, and my head pounded as i walked behind them up the latter and through the trapdoor above.
*NATE'S POV*
I grabbed y/n's shaky hand and lead her through the trap door behind Sully. I looked down at her and her face was pale. She didn't look too good.
"Hey, you okay?" I asked her. Her lip was quivering and her hands were sweating, but completely cold.
"Yeah, f-fine." She squinted against the sunlight and wobbled a bit as she walked in front of me.
"Y/n, be careful, okay? If you feel sick tell me please." I looked over at her as she struggled to walk straight.
"I know, Nate. I'm fine. I p-promise."
I sighed and walked back towards Sully, as we all three crouched behind the steering wheel.
"You ready for a mutiny?" I smiled and looked over at Sully who didn't look amused.
"Pfft, why not?" He tossed his heavy bag full of gold and gems on the ground beside him.
I pulled y/n on my back as me and Sully grabbed a robe and swung across, from one side of the ship to the other. When Sully landed, his feet came in contact with Braddock's back, shoving her to the ground with a grunt.
