Tristan's POV
"Papa, we eat it?" Theo asked Jesse as he took a piece of the pumpkins we were carving.
"No, baby. These are for decorations. We're going to make a pie out of another one, okay?" My sweet husband smiled at our precious bun.
"Otay!" Theo beamed, showing off his little bunny teeth. Good heavens, he's too cute for my heart.
"Theo, baby, what do you want to be for Halloween?" Theo whipped his little head towards me when he heard my question. His doe eyes stared at me for a moment as he thought hard.
"We dresh up?" He tilted his head.
"Of course, baby. What do you want to be?"
"A gosht!"
I frowned. "A goat?" That's a weird request.
"He said ghost!" Jesse gave me a slap on the bicep.
"Oh, ghost! Of course! We can be ghosts!" I smiled wide as Theo giggled at my excited tone. Milo came to sit beside us and sneakily started to nibble on some of the discarded pumpkin pieces.
"Dada! Dada! Milo eat p-pumpin! Stop Milo! Bad!" Theo scrambled to take the piece of pumpkin out of Milo's mouth. The dog looked confused as the little one started lecturing him not to eat pumpkins.
"Papa will give us pie, otay? Don't eat this, otay? This for decolation. "
"It's decoration, sweetie," Jesse corrected him.
Theo nodded as he looked at Milo again. "Decolation," He said, pointing his finger and sounding serious. Jesse looked like he was about to pass out from laughing while I watched them with a smile. So cute.
Jesse turned his pumpkin towards me and Theo with a wide grin. "Tada! How did I do?"
Theo clapped his hands while breaking out into happy giggles. "Papa, good!" He exclaimed loudly to which Jesse said thank you. Always the biggest fan of whatever his papa does.
Jesse looked at me and wiggled his eyebrows, causing me to smile. "Talented in everything! I'm such a lucky guy," I winked, causing him to blush.
"Shut up," Jesse mumbled, cheeks red as he focused back on carving the pumpkin.
My heart swelled and warmed at the sight, feeling like it was about to burst from all the love I held for my baby. Some things about him never change.

"We're back!" I announced, walking through the front door with a basket full of candies. Theo teetered in first, excitedly running towards his papa to show off his candies. Milo followed suit while I closed the door.
