Tristan

I took him back to my room. His eyes were red from crying and his cheeks looked puffy. His hands were really soft compared to mine. Mine is all roughed from going to the gym. I should've taken care of them. I squeezed his hands from time to time to calm him down.

I led him to the bed and made him sit down. He looked exhausted from all the crying so I poured a glass of water and gave it to him.

Jesse whispered a soft 'thank you' before drinking it. I just smiled and patted his back.

"Are you okay now?" I asked, smiling softly.

I saw Jesse bite his lips as he nodded. His cheeks were red and he was avoiding meeting my eyes. I think he was embarrassed by what happened.

We're the same age so he must be nervous that I'd think of him as a weird guy. I wanted to assure him that I don't judge him for his phobias but I didn't want to make it more awkward by talking about it.

I think it's better if I just act like it's nothing big.

"Don't hesitate to call me if you need anything. I wouldn't mind helping you even if it's in the middle of the night, okay?"

Jesse nodded. "T-Thank you… " He fiddled with his hands as he replied. He still didn't look up at me.

When I was convinced that he was finally calm, I decided to go back to the next room. But as soon as I said goodnight and turned to leave, I felt him grab my hand.

"Do you need anything else?" I asked him. Jesse bit his lip as he looked down again. "It's okay, you can ask me anything," I tried to encourage him to say what he wanted.

"I-I... It's...C-Can you s-sleep here?" He said, not daring to meet my eyes. I smiled and subconsciously ruffled his hair...ehh...his hair is really soft…

"Of course, I'll sleep on the cou—"

"N-No...not the couch... I-I meant the bed," He cut me off. I felt his hands trembling. The storm is still raging outside. He must be really scared. "I-I know I-I'm asking for too much but I have to f-feel like there's someone beside me or I'll p-panic," He stuttered out, his grip tightening around my hand. I crouched down to meet his eyes and smiled at him.

"Hey....there's no need to panic. I'm here, okay?" I said and he gave me a small smile.

I can't leave him here after witnessing how scared he was a few moments ago.

I don't like to share my bed with anyone while sleeping but I think doing it once won't be a problem.

I turned the lights off after we both got into my bed. Jesse was nervous. I could see it from the way he behaved. He was keeping his distance from me like I would be annoyed if he came too close. He was sleeping on the edge, facing the other way from me. I could see him trembling while he curled himself into a ball.

I don't know what came over me but I draped my around his waist and pulled him closer to flush against my chest. He let out a surprised yelp and stiffened in my arms. "Relax," I whispered in his ear as I spooned him closer and waited for him to calm down. I felt him relax after a minute.

It felt nice cuddling him. I don't know what I'm doing but I don't wanna think about it right now. He's really warm and soft like a teddy bear. I couldn't help but hug him closer.

If it were someone else, they would've punched me in the face but I guess Jesse needed this. He wasn't trembling anymore.

I didn't know a guy could be this soft… It felt like I'm hugging a doll.

He also smelled really nice. It was my scent all over him. His hair smelled like the apple-scented shampoo I use. It never felt this nice on me. I'm still shirtless so I might be really warm for him cause he moved closer to me and pressed his back on my chest.

A smile formed on my lips as I slipped into sleep...
