Jake

"We have to go home before seven so choose the interesting rides," I said, looking at the map I had in my hands. Dylan was too busy gobbling up the cotton candy to even look in my way. "Stop eating so many sugary things. It will make you sick." I said, trying to stop him from putting the whole thing in his mouth.

"Speak for yourself, weakling." He huffed, slapping my hand away. "Hey! Let's get on that roller coaster! That seems so fun!" Dylan beamed, pointing to his left while dragging me by my hand. When did he get so strong?

"Are you sure you can ride the rollercoaster? We just ate." I tried to slow him down.

"I'm fine. Don't be a pussy and come with me," He rolled his eyes while continuing to drag me with him.

What in the…?

This little candy eating son of Satan!

"Arghh! I feel like I'm going to die. That was so sick!! I'm never getting on that thing again! Jake, stop swaying and stand still!"

"You're the one who's swaying, Dylan." I shook my head, giving him a bottle of water. He took it and downed it like he had been thirsty for a week.

I knew this was going to happen. He was eating so much candy and I bet he wants to puke it all—

"I want an ice cream," He said, panting from drinking the bottle in one go.

"What? No, you're not eating anything sugary anymore. You'll get sick." Did he go mad? He still wants to eat more sugar? I hope he doesn't die from diabetes.

"I won't! I-I like them, please...It'll be the last one," He whined, tugging on my shirt. He's like a kid because of all the candy he's eating. I'm pretty sure his body is 80% of sugar by now. I sighed and rubbed my temple before taking out my wallet. I pulled out a few dollars and gave them to him. "Okay, go buy one but if you get sick after the next ride then we're going straight home," I said and crossed my arms. Dylans smiled brightly before nodding like an obedient child.  (A/N:- Sugar daddy Jake giving money to his sugar baby so he could buy more sugary things. Hmm…sweet 👀)

"Okay! I promise I won't get sick," He happily chirped before running off to buy the sugary thing. I don't know how he can eat all that and not get sick. I don't even like the smell of these things.

I looked at Dylan who was patiently waiting for his ice cream while swaying to the sound of music playing nearby. Does he ever stay still?

Am I hanging out with him or taking care of him? It feels like he's a hyperactive sugar loving kid and I'm his babysitter. Damn.

"Jake, look over there! over there!! It seems so cool from up here!" Dylan shouted, looking out through the glass window. His nose was pressed on the glass window as he looked down at the view.

"Yeah, that's cool. I bet it's more beautiful at night." I nodded, looking at what he showed me.

"Yeah, I think so too. I wish I could see them at night from here," He said with a little disappointment. I just chuckled and sat back.

"But it's still beautiful. Look, we can see everything so clearly and look at the sky. It's so pretty,"

"Oh yes! The sky is super cool. I always liked the sunset sky. It's so colorful. When I was thirteen, I had this camera that I got as a gift and I always went up to the rooftop to take pictures of the sky because it was so gorgeous in the evening."

"Really? I did that too when I was younger. I wanted to be a photographer at that time and used to go hiking so I could take pictures of nature, "  It was when I got my first camera, I still have it but I don't use it as much now. As I grew up, I lost interest in photography. It was just a temporary craze I guess.

Dylan giggled hearing my words.

Yes, he giggled.

He's like a kid..... right now. I smiled at his excitement. I think he's a little sugar high from all the candy and ice cream he had.

"I feel so tired," Dylan muttered, as he slumped on the passenger seat. He lazily searched for the seatbelt and put it on.

"You were so hyper today so it's only normal if you're tired," I replied and started the car. After the Ferris wheel, we tried a few other rides and got some snacks. We decided to go home because the candy kid was feeling really exhausted.

"So, what's your plan tomorrow?" Dylan asked, turning towards me as he got comfy on his seat. He looked like he could fall asleep any minute.

"I don't know....hang out with the basketball team maybe," I shrugged. Dylan just hummed in reply. "What's yours?"

"Uhh... I don't know... I'll probably stay home." He let out a humorless laugh then sighed as he looked down. "I had fun today," Dylan smiled, then lifted his head to look up at me. "I forgot the last time I felt this happy and excited. So thanks for inviting me."

I smiled. "I had fun too and I would love to do this again with you." I ruffled his hair before he slapped my hand away. He grumbled about how I always mess up his pretty hair, causing me to chuckle.

We talked some more before we reached his house. His house wasn't really big. It was an average middle class home but had a homey feeling to it. He invited me to come in but I kindly refused.

"See you on Monday then," Dylan said with a little wave.

"See you on Monday," I replied and drove off after giving him a smile.

Well..... Today was nice...

He's nice.
