As I thought, my biology grade is shit. So I finally decided to ask Jesse for help. I just hope he will agree to help me. I'm even willing to pay him for tutoring me. This is my last resort because I don't have the guts to go up to Lisa and confess.
I'm going to be embarrassed if he refuses to help me. This is the first time I'm asking someone for a favor and I don't want that to happen.
I looked around for Jake to find him scrolling through his phone. "Hey, man! " I called him, causing him to look up at me.
"Finally! I've been waiting for you like forever," He groaned, stuffing his phone back into his pocket.
I rolled my eyes before walking to our morning class.
"So... you thought about what I said?" He asked, draping his arm around my shoulder.
"I did. I'm gonna do it. My biology test grade is shit, so I'm gonna ask him for help," I sighed. I can't believe I'm seriously doing something this guy suggested.
"Well, good luck then... I hope he helps you," He said, smirking like a psychopath. Sometimes Jake makes me question if he's normal or not.
Forget it, I'm pretty sure he's not normal. Who else comes up with bizarre plans like him?
"Don't smile like that... It makes me feel like you're a devil and you're luring me into something, " I said, shoving him away.
Jake broke out laughing. "Well, maybe I am....who knows..." He shrugged before giving me a wink.
I scrunched up my face in disgust and elbowed him. "Shut up," I told him and rolled my eyes. Why am I even friends with this guy?

It's finally lunchtime now. I already told Jake that I'm going to talk to Jesse and I've been searching for that kid for quite some time. Good lord! Where did this boy go? I even went to the rooftop to look for him.
The problem is that finding someone in our college is not an easy thing because our campus is freaking huge for no reason. The person you want to find could be anywhere. And currently, I'm having that crisis. I kinda knew he wouldn't be in the cafeteria or classrooms because there's a lot of people. Jesse is a quiet guy so I guess he would be in some kind of quiet place.
Quiet place! I ran as fast as I could when realization crashed into me. He must be there!

I looked around to find him walking with a book in his hand. He has a book in his hands during lunchtime. Maybe my theory about him eating books for lunch is true.
Anyways, I'm glad I found this guy. I couldn't help but mentally cheer as I ran towards him.
"Hey!" I called to catch his attention. He looked around to find the source of the voice but when his eyes landed on me, his expression turned confused. He looked around one more time before turning to walk away.
"Hey! I'm calling you!" I shouted again before running up to him.
He stopped and looked at me again with wide eyes. He looked surprised and his whole face turned red from suddenly being ambushed by me.
So Jake was right. He does blush a lot.
"Uh... I'm sorry. Are you busy right now?" I asked him, offering an awkward smile. I didn't want to creep him out so I acted as friendly as possible.
"Um...N-No...I was just going to eat. Uh... D-Do you need any help?" He stuttered. His voice was small and it was obvious that he was nervous.
"Well… Yeah...I kinda need your help with something. We can talk about it while we eat. Do you mind me joining you? " I asked him, gesturing to the nearby table.
He stared at me for a minute, taking his time to comprehend what was happening.
I spoke again when I didn't get a reply from him. Is he scared? Did I make him uncomfortable? "Umm… you can refuse if you want, I don't want to force you, " I said, causing him to jump out of his thoughts.
He cleared his throat and blushed again.
"N-No, I don't mind," He said and gave me a shy smile.
