Jesse"What's in this box? Why is it so heavy?" I panted as I placed it on the floor. We're currently in Dylan's new apartment, helping him to organize his things. He moved in here a day ago.
The apartment wasn't that big but it was spacious enough for him. It had two rooms, a kitchen, and a living room.
Dylan wanted an apartment with only one bedroom because he was afraid about the rent being high but the apartment was owned by one of Tristan's friends so they told him not to worry about it.
"It's my books," Dylan said as he carried another box to his room.
"What's in that?" I asked him, pointing at the box in his hands.
"They're some photo frames of my family," He said, opening the little box. Dylan took out a family photo of him, and his parents on the beach. "I miss them already, " He said, tracing the picture with his thumb.
"You can visit them whenever you want to, you're only twenty minutes away." I tried to cheer him up.
Dylan smiled. "Mom wasn't letting me go. I had to seek help from grandma to convince her. She will really miss me....." He chuckled before setting the photo frame on the table. The bedroom was good. It had one queen-sized bed, one closet, a bookshelf, and an attached bathroom.
I looked around and opened the window, letting in the fresh air. The apartment was closer to the street where Tristan lived. So it was calm and quiet because there wasn't any traffic.
"How did Tristan manage to arrange this apartment in just three weeks?" Dylan asked, coming near me to look out the window.
"Are you guys gossiping about me? I heard someone say my name," Tristan said as he came to the room with a giant box in his hands. He set the box on the floor and stretched his arms. His muscles flexed under his shirt. I gulped at the view. I was about to lose my mind and go there to kiss him but Dylan saved me by speaking up.
"How did you manage to get this apartment in such a short time?"
"Oh, It's my friend's apartment complex. I once helped him when he was having some financial problems and it was the first time I asked him for something. I guess he was just eager to pay me back." He shrugged, pulling up his T-shirt to wipe the sweat away, flashing us a quick view of his abs. I gulped again. Dylan turned red as he quickly turned around to stare out of the window.
I gave Tristan a pointed glare to which he smirked at me. "I put everything in the kitchen. Let's decorate the living room now, come on." Tristan winked at me before going to the living room.
We followed him there. I took the paintings and hung them on the wall. They were beautiful. Dylan painted them but he was so against framing them and putting them as a decoration. But I won in the end and got them framed. He needs to show them off, they're all so amazing.

.The three of us slumped down on the couch when we finished organizing and decorating Dylan's apartment. I felt so exhausted from all the work.
"Thank you guys for helping me, I couldn't have done it without you," Dylan said to which I just waved him off in reply. Tristan gave Dylan a thumbs up before going to the kitchen.
"I need to tell you guys something," Tristan said as he came back. He sat on the couch and handed us both two soda cans. Cool soda….ugh heaven! "Jake talked to me about you, Dylan..... He told me he noticed how you've been avoiding him. He thinks you don't like Aleesha and that's why you're doing it."
"Umm...That's right though.... I don't like her... She never did anything to me but my instinct is telling me there's something wrong about her..." Dylan said as he sipped his soda.
