After three days in Chaing Mai the two of you find yourselves on Phi Phi island with a gorgeous private AIR BNB overlooking the island. Finally being on Phi Phi island though means finally being able to go and visit monkey island, the one things Zach's been waiting for the whole time. Being able to go to monkey island though means leaving early and leaving early means getting up really, getting ready early, getting breakfast early and getting on the boat early. "What are we doing today?" Zach asks rolling over in bed. "I don't know." You smirk. "Wait are we going where I think we're going?" He gets excited. "It depends where do you think we're going." "Are we going to monkey island?" You respond with a nod. "Yesss!" He jumps and cheers on the bed beside you. "You're real excited aren't you." You laugh. "A little bit." He settles back down. "Anyway I'm going to go have a shower do you mind ordering some breakfast." "What do you want for breakfast?" "Surprise me." You jump out of bed and run to the bathroom for a shower.

After your shower and whilst getting ready you ear your delicious breakfast Zach bought you and prepare for the day ahead. "Are you ready to go?" You ask Zach. "Not yet." "Make sure you're ready because we need to leave soon." "Why do we have to leave so early?" He complains. "Because we only had the option of an early boat ride to monkey island." "The monkeys better LOVE ME then." He earns a laugh. "I'll go get ready now." "Thank you baby."
The boat ride to the island isn't the greatest thanks to the early morning choppy water. Meters away from the island though Zach is already grinning and pointing out all the monkeys he can see. It really is a quite adorable sigh but they give you all a little bit of food to treat the monkeys as you head off for the sand. "OMG BABY LOOK!" He screams in excitement. "Zach I can see them settle down." You laugh. "But they're so cute." "I know they are but there are other people around and they're currently looking at you like you're crazy." "Oh who cares I'm enjoying myself." "Isn't that a great way to live." You smile. "Exactly." "Are you going to give them a pat?" You watch on. "Am I allowed to?" "Yeah if they like you enough they sometimes jump into your arms." "I'm scared you go first." "Seriously?" You roll your eyes. "Yes here go I'm scared." He hands you the fruit. "Ugh fine." You proceed to crouch down in front of a couple monkeys and place your hand out with a couple strawberries inside for said monkeys to take and or sniff you out and try to feel more comfortable. One of the monkeys reacts extremely positively to your fruit and jumps into your arms looking for a hug. "Omg. Omg ." You gaps. "Give me a hug!" Zach encourages. "I wasn't expecting that. That was a little scary." You admit. "You're doing great sweetie." Zach claps. "Okay Kris Jenner." You notice Zach isn't really making any moves and instead just standing their taking photos of you and this monkey. "Are you going to come say hi to one of the monkeys?" You ask. "Give me a minute." "What's wrong?" "Nothing I just need a minute." "You've been excited about this for weeks now come crouch beside me he might even want a hug from you." "They're just a little bit more intimidating then I imagined them being." "You'll be fine, I'm right beside you." "Are there any baby ones? A baby would make me feel much better." You monkey removes itself from your arms and steps back from some more food as you notice a couple baby monkeys and their mothers a couple meters away. "There are a couple babies over there." You point. "Can we go see them?" "Of course let's go." You smile. "You don't think the mothers would get annoyed at me?" "No you'll be fine." "Really?" "Yeah come on." You take Zach's hand like his a little kid and lead him to his big scary fear.
