Kasey L.
"Kasey doesn't care about me!"
"Kasey doesn't love me!"
"He's leaving me!"
I shook my head while Xena shouted at the top of her lungs. She was overly dramatic for no reason but I can't deny and say that I didn't love it. It was something about having a woman, that was all mine by the way, be over the top just because I was going out. Certainly, it wasn't going to stop me from hanging with Delmar and Jermey but knowing that she was upset with it was cute. I don't know how to explain it but the feeling of being wanted for once felt nice.
"Ughhhh!" She shouted again to get my attention. I rinsed my face off after shaving a little then exit the bathroom. I might as well give this girl some attention before she fall out by not having it.
"Can you calm down?" I questioned, even though I knew she wasn't going to. I went to the dresser and got some lotion for my face.
"No." She sternly responded. I glance back to see her sitting on her elbows and looking at me. "You're leaving me and I don't like that."
"I'm not leaving you." I said. I made my way to the bed, presented with a frown from her. She was such a baby.
"So, you're not going out anymore?" She questioned, her eyes showing excitement. Sadly, I was about to ruin that.
"Well, I'm still going out but I'm not—" I stopped my sentence when she held her hand up.
She turned to rest on her stomach, showing her attitude. She had a bad one when she didn't get her way. I had enough time before meeting Delmar and Jermey at the bar. So, I was going to handle her real quick. She obviously needed a good talking to. I grabbed her legs then forcefully turned her around. And before she could do anything else, I pulled her closer to the edge of the bed.
"Calm down," I told her since I could feel her about to go off. She crossed her arms and I knew she was going to stay cool.
"Secondly, I'm not going to be out for long baby. Trust when I say that we all need this night out." I explained to her.
"Why?"
"Because we're men who work too much and need some time together." She squinted her eyes at me. I instantly knew she was overthinking what I said and turning it around. Before anything could fly out her mouth, I put an end to it.
"Don't think of it that way." I told her. "This is how we been able to keep a long-lasting friendship."
"By going out?" She questioned, raising her brows.
I nodded. "Yes. As soon as our schedules started to get busier, we promised to dedicate one night out of the month to chill. We grab drinks and relax without talking about work or other personal stuff. We pretty much get wasted with no worries of anything else happening in life at the time." I throughly explained for her. I made sure I spoke on everything just to ease her racing mind.
"And you're doing this tonight?" She asked.
"Yes, ma'am. It'll just be Delmar, Jeremy, and I. No one else. I won't be out late either, maybe an hour or two." I said.
