Tuesday, April 12th                      Day 2

Welcome back to my plant journal! It's been years since I written in this. Four years to be exact. Crazy! But we're ending this drought with brand new content. Kasey got me my very own greenhouse and I started working on it yesterday with getting it organized. I moved stuff around, lined up my pots, raised beds, and hanging pot as well. I still can't believe Kasey got me this place! I'm literally sitting inside of it as I write this now listening to classical music. I was taking a break after planting my first ten pots.

I went shopping yesterday to get more soil and started seeds. I got carrots, eggplants, tomatoes, strawberries, cherries, peppers, mint, cilantro, peace lilies, and sunflowers. I literally had three carts and a basket filled with items. It was the most I've even spent at a garden store and I regret nothing. NOTHING! So I far I only planted my carrots and eggplants, five pots for both. I decided to take a break since my wrists were starting to hurt but I'll get back to it later.

I'm so freaking excited to start gardening. That was always a dream of mine, obviously, and my man helped me with this dream. Yeah, I said my man. Something else that's brand new but that's for my other journal and not this one. Anyway, lemme start the tracking for my plants which is why I came here for in the first place.

Seed Name # of Pots/RB
• Carrots 5
• Eggplants 5
• Tomatoes 5
• Strawberries 2 RB
• Cherries 4
• Peppers 3
• Mint 2 RB
• Cilantro 1 RB
• Peace Lilies 1
• Sunflowers 6 RB

These numbers might change later on when I finally plant them but this is what I'm expecting to get.

I snapped my head up when my music was turned off and ringing took over instead. I was about to get in the zone with my writing, going into deep thoughts with full-through plans. Yet, I was interrupted. I thought about allowing my phone to just ring but then again I remembered that I could be Kasey. I wouldn't know until I got my ass up.

Getting out of my rocking chair, I walked over to my table where my phone was resting. I wanted to keep it away from me so I didn't get distracted while writing. Looking at the screen, I saw that it wasn't Kasey calling and instead Jada. I hat could she possibly want now? I grabbed my phone then answered her call, putting it on speaker.

"Yes?" I annoyingly answered.

"Umm, okay, rude." She remarked then chuckled. I stayed serious on my end. I wasn't in the mood to hear any of her news. What could it possibly be anyway? More of her gloating about her pregnancy and what Franklin and Cynthia were doing for her. Stuff I didn't want to hear.

"What do you need, Jada?" I questioned, grabbing my phone and walking back to my rocking chair.

"You're grumpy this afternoon. Everything alright?" She ignored my question. This phone call was going to be a lot longer than I wanted it to be.
