I stared at my laptop screen that had my second test up. After prolonging this for some days, I decided to finish the last two tests today. I was heading back to work next week and wanted this to be done before going. I was procrastinating like crazy which is why I haven't done it before. I was busy anyway and that was another reason why I procrastinated. Unfortunately, I couldn't keep doing since I didn't have anything to do. But I was still taking forever to finish with my multiple thirty minute breaks I was taking.
Like this one.
I moved my mouse to brighten my screen once it went dark. Then went back to staring at it. I seriously didn't want to do this. It felt like medical school all over again with the hundred question exams that took several hours to complete. I was fine when I was in school. I wasn't fine with it now because it didn't seem relevant. I was working in the damn hospital, so clearly I passed several tests in order to get the job. I mess with Cory but some of the stuff he did was stupid and didn't make sense. Like this. I was going to do it since I had to.
But she was my biggest distraction.
When I heard humming, my eyes came off my laptop screen and searched for Xena. We both were chilling in the house today and I will admit that having her around only caused me to be more distracted than I already was. She wasn't doing anything outrageous either just walking around the house in this lounge-set cleaning. Yet that had me wanting her desperately. I couldn't stand this stupid probation she put me on.
I finally saw her pretty face. "Hello!" She exclaimed, slamming the broom she was holding on the floor.
"Hi baby. You're still cleaning?" I asked, moving my mouse again to brighten my screen. It was still early but I would've thought she'd be done by now. It didn't matter to me because I was positive that I was going to get a free show out of it.
"Yes, I am. I just finished the bedroom and bathroom. I wanna start out here but I know you're working and I don't want to interrupt." She replied, moving the broom side to side.
"You can clean out here, I don't mind. I need a distraction anyway." I muttered to myself. I went back to my screen seeing that I was only on question thirty. Nowhere near done and I was stalling.
"Are you sure?"
"Yeah, I'm sure baby." She wasted no time after my approval to start sweeping.
"How's the test going?" She started a conversation.
"So-so." I answered, going back to my screen. I decided to get started on it. This could've been done in an hour and I was dragging it out for no reason.
"Is it hard?"
"No. I just don't want to do it." I said while reading the question. I read it again then picked my answer. The test was literally everything I already knew so I was able to run right through it with no issue. Again, I was being lazy and didn't want to do this in the first place.
"How many questions are there?" She continued. I saw her bend down and that caught my attention. Her lounge-set was shorts and her cheeks were hanging out. I pressed my lips together and continued staring at her until she stood up.
