"Wait, who's baby shower is this?"

I grabbed ahold of Kasey's hand, stepping out of the truck. Our week had been busy and we were out and about again. It was one of Delmar or Harmony family member baby shower. I was told at least four times and still couldn't remember who it was for. It didn't matter since I was looking forward to getting meatballs. I heard baby shower meatballs were elite and I wanted to see if that was true.

"Delmar's sister, Deja." Kasey answered. He didn't seem bothered that this was his fourth time repeating it.

"Ooh, Delmar has a sister?" I asked, shutting the passenger door behind me.

"He has two."

"Cute."

I leaned against the truck while Kasey opened the back door for the gifts. I didn't know what else to get her so I got three big boxes of newborn diapers, two boxes of wipes too. I was always told to never come to a party empty handed, so I decided to grab my best. While I stared at the beautiful house we were parked in front of, I ended up seeing Delmar and Harmony coming from the backyard.

"Look who finally made it." Delmar spoke while they made their way to us.

"Hello. Thank you for inviting us." I thanked him while I gave him a hug.

"No problem. The more the merrier." He said then dapped up Kasey.

"Hey babe." I went to Harmony right after. We hugged too, tighter and rocking side to side. She smelled good too.

"Ooh, you smell good." I complimented. "You look good too."

"Girl, you too. Look at that body." She took a step back and sized me up and down. I laughed at the way she was eyeing me, looking ready to pounce on me at any moment.

"Thank you. I tried." I responded, turning around. I peeped that Kasey was looking and smirking. I caught the way he's been staring at me since our conversation about the pregnancy. I didn't trust his ass so he wasn't allowed to touch me. I already had to put him on probation. Delmar and Kasey grabbed the boxes then started heading to the backyard. Harmony and I followed behind them.

"Y'all house is beautiful." I complimented while I checked out the interior. Seeing my people living in mansions filled my heart with straight joy.

"Thank you. It costs a fortune but I don't touch any of the bills." Harmony stuck her tongue out and I laughed.

"Neither do I." We high-five and shared a laugh knowing that we were living the dream. Looking pretty while our men did all the hard work. The standard.

We headed to the backyard and it looked even more gorgeous. Their pool caught my attention first and the setup was nice. There were black and brown people wearing pink and they looked stunning. Tables were around and candy jars in the middle of them. Kids were running around, old school music was being played with a DJ, and there were two white and pink thrones center of backyard. Two tables filled with gifts and big blocked letters spelling out Raegan.

"Her name is pretty." I said aloud. The two ladies that were standing there turned to face me. One sized me up and down, and the other tiredly gave me a smile.
