Luck was on the kid's side. With Luna off at work until at least late morning the next day, the group didn't need to make excuses as to why they needed to leave. Just in case, though, Lucy wrote a note for her aunt with a lie that they were going to stay the night with Thane's parents. Then, they were off. Well, not quite yet. Thane still needed to do something before they left.

Embit lined up patiently in front of his trainer as Thane retrieved three Capture Discs from his backpack strap. With the click of a button, the rest of his team was released into the living room. Paratweet, Geklow, and Escagrow took their places beside Embit and in front of Thane while the others watched.

Thane knelt in front of his team as he pulled out a now-occupied Capture Disc, the one containing a newly caught Whispup. He held it up so his Loomians could examine it. "Guys," He began softly. "We have a new friend. The Whispup that we saved from Yuto and Wendolen, back in Heiwa Village. He's been following us since then, and he even helped Lucas fight off that weird Loomian." He explained as his Loomians looked at him with curiosity. "He's going to be sticking with us, so be nice and welcoming. He spooks easily." Thane then rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly. "I'm not really sure how I'm going to properly train and care for him after his time with Yuto."

With that admission, Thane turned to his experienced friend, Jake. The older boy just looked at him and shrugged his shoulders. Thane then turned to Lucy, who also shrugged. "I don't know. You've raised your team really well, just do that. Ask Via." Thane cocked his head to the side and his hand reached up to his ear. Empty. Thane had slipped the earbud away into the case. Lucy's idea was good, though. He would have to ask his digital assistant. She would know what to do, but that would have to wait until later.

"Okay, I'll talk to Via later." He said as he turned back to his team. "But right now, I want to introduce you guys to our new friend. No sudden movement" he reminded. Then, with a click of the button in the center of the disc, Whispup appeared in a flash of blue.

Immediately Whispup clung to Thane's leg tightly and refused to let go. Thane didn't move to pry him off. He just patted Whispup on the head gently. His flame was too weak to hurt or leave any damage. "Whispup," He began gently. "These are my other Loomians, your new team members and friends." Whispup's eyes drifted shyly to the assortment of Loomians as they greeted him enthusiastically.

"That's my partner, Embit. He was my very first Loomian." Embit waved and let out a greeting. "That's Paratweet. I caught her as a Twittle. She's the first Loomian I ever caught." Paratweet nodded politely and looked at the smaller Loomian with gentle eyes. "That's Geklow. She's the second Loomian I caught and the third member of my team." Geklow waved and let out a cry of greeting. It was loud and made Whispup flitch. Paratweet smacked Geklow with a wing. "And that's Escagrow. I caught him as a Slugling." Slugling made a waving motion with an extended vine.

Then, Thane turned to his human friends, and Whispup's eyes followed. "Those are my traveling companions. They're all trainers and very nice. Lucy and Lucas are twins." He introduced the twins, and they waved at the same time. "Lucas is a great cook, and Lucy knows how to patch Loomians up, well, it's passable," Thane said with a sheepish smile as Lucy fixed a glare on him. When asked if he remembered Lucas, Whipup nodded. Then, Thane turned to Jake. "That's Jake," and the raven-haired boy waved. "He's been doing this the longest, traveling. He's the strongest and most experienced of us." Finally, he turned to Mabel, who waved apprehensively. "And that's Mabel. She's kind of like you. She's new to Loomian training."

With introductions out of the way, Thane looked down at Whispup. "You've been following us. You know about the stones? Vanta?" Whispup nodded and Thane bit the inside of his cheek. "And, you're sure you're up to it. We have fun on this team, we look out for each other and help each other grow. But, we also have to deal with the stone. Finding the stone, stopping people like Vanta. There's going to be consequences to what we do, just look at what happened to me. I need to know now, are you up for this?" Whispup nodded, this time, with determination.
