Thane's room was big. The guest room he was staying in was way bigger than his room back home, or any room he had stayed in on his travels. It could comfortably fit all his Loomians, who were currently lying on a large, plush blue carpet. Thane wondered if Ferrix or Baxley would be upset by that, but oh well. He wouldn't be able to stop his team at this point.

His bed was also luxurious. Blue silk sheets, thick blankets, and lots of pillows. Embit curdled up beside him. Meanwhile, Whispup hovered right above the bed frame. His green flame flickered faintly in the dark. Thane stretched his arms in bed. "What a day." He muttered to no one in particular. "Got my fourth medal. About to find the fourth stone piece. Ate good food." He smiled to himself. He truly was living the life. He was also glad he won those coin flips to see who would get a room all to themselves.

He sunk his head into the pillow and tapped the metal prosthetics in his eye sockets twice each. The silver world slowly faded, and pure blackness replaced his dull vision. However, before he could fall into the best sleep of his life, a soft knock sounded at his door. Thane didn't even bother "opening" his eyes. "Who is it?" He asked groggily. "Open the door." An annoyed voice came through. Mabel.

Thane groaned and kicked the blankets off him in annoyance. The first thing he did as his feet touched the floor was tap his metal eyes twice each, and suddenly silver flooded his vision again. He could "see" again. His hands instinctively grabbed a fully charged Via case and his dark-tinted sunglasses with a yawn. He slipped the device into his ear and the glasses over his eyes without a second thought. As Thane stood up, he turned to his Loomians. All five of them were peacefully asleep.

As quietly as he could, Thane walked over to the door and opened it. Five silver faceless humanoids greeted him. He scratched his scalp as Thane stepped out and quietly shut the door behind him. "What's up, guys?" He asked.

"We didn't wake you up, right?" Lucy asked. Her voice came from the right. Thane just stared at his friends, their reflection visible in the tint of his glasses. Lucy continued. "None of us were able to fall asleep, so we decided to come see if you were still awake." Thane's head swiveled to inspect his friends. "None of you could fall asleep?" Five nodding heads answered him. "Some of us couldn't fall asleep for other reasons." She muttered as her head turned subtly to Millia, who was practically vibrating in excitement. There was no way she was tired. "I still haven't shown you guys my sticker collection or my Weevolt plush!" She reasoned.

Jake shrugged his shoulders. "We can't fall asleep, but Millia here really can't fall asleep." Thane bit his tongue to stop a retort about him nearly falling asleep. "Can we come in and hang out for a bit?" Lucas asked. Thane turned to the closed wooden door. He turned back to his friends and shook his head. "Not in here. My Loomians are already asleep in there." He explained. Millia beamed. "Oh! Oh! We can go hang out in my room!" She suggested with an excitement that none of the older kids could refuse.

A few minutes later, they were all sitting on the floor of Millia's room on a plush pink carpet. Starla had made herself comfortable and had fallen asleep on a purple beanbag chair. Mabel sat in front of the chair, leaning her back against it. As for the rest of them, they all sat in a circle on the comfortable carpet. The bed was comically large for a girl of Millian's size and it sported red sheets and heavy purple blankets. Loomian plushies of all shapes and sizes littered the room. A TV and video game system were also set up in the corner of the room, but that was for later.

"This room is nice and cozy!" Lucas exclaimed as his fingers brushed against the carpet. "The room Jake and I had was big, but there were so many paintings of people on the wall." The blonde shivered. "Felt like they were staring at us." Jake chuckled and nodded in agreement. "Yeah, made it a bit uncomfortable." He said with a smile. "Daddy says those are portraits of his friends who helped build the city," Millia explained. "I don't know many of them because all that stuff happened before I was born."
