I pick up the call. "Hey, Fell."

"...Turn on yer camera, would ya?" He's quiet. He sounds like he's trying not to stutter.

"Sure." I flip my camera on.

"T-Thanks." He mumbles.

"You alright?" I ask.

"J-Just... Nervous. Heh."

"It's alright."

He takes a deep breath, and I can hear a slight clicking noise, like bone tapping on wood. He clears his throat, and then turns his camera on.

He hesitates before speaking. "H-Hey, s-sweetheart-" His voice is full of embarrassment and nervousness.

I blink, not entirely sure what I'm looking at. He's not what I expected at all.

...He's not even human.

He's a skeleton. A singular, glowing, red light floats in his left eye socket. He has a thick, dark red turtleneck underneath a black winter jacket, with slightly light-yellow fur lining the hood, and a golden zipper. A gold chain/necklace is wrapped around his neck. A gold tooth glistens in his jaws.

"U-Um..." He inhales sharply. "You alright, sweetheart...? Y-Yer not gonna faint, right..?"

"I-" I blink again, speechless.

"...A-Are you-" He looks around awkwardly, then looks back at me. "...Do you... Not... Um... Do you-" He clears his throat. "Do you not like that I'm... A skeleton...?" His voice is so quiet.
