Can you imagine a world full of AI and Robots, and machines and few humans are left?

A friend of mine is a smart person carrying this energy of a scientist: curious, open minded, and crafty.

But he is discouraged to pursue science and technology despite of this huge potential in him. He said, new tech keeps being developed and one day, it will replace humans overall. That is his fear.

It felt futile to exert effort into studying and pursuing this field where he excels where there is a big threat that the field would no longer be useful to the society. No longer needed because of too much advancement.

Can technology really replace humans?

That idea far fetched. If the creator is imperfect, how can he create a perfect  invention?

How can an imperfect being create perfect creations?

For some, yes. They will sacrifice quality over the quantity. Can't deny that there are people who prefer to consider the costs and efficiency as the major factor in their services, especially companies who only values MONEY. They wanna cut costs and they settle for lesser quality as long as the work is done quickly and with little cost.

Relying solely on AI, and robots, they would not have to pay for labor. They will not have to deal with fellow workmates. Wala rin silang babayaran na benefits. They can make the technology work for them anytime they want with no extra pays for holidays, no government mandated benefits. These technology won't even demand for salary increases, or take abscences, and leave, or resign.

Yes, nakatipid sila. But what about their gains? Do they gain more profit?
I think, not.

Yes, nakakatipid mga companies. But because the quality is sacrificed, the amount of income from customers is decreased kasi they are not enticed to buy na, eh.

They are not satisfied. So, they don't come back anymore. They go to other companies that could satisfy their need for quality.
There are perfectionists people. Or rather, people who prefer quality over quantity or else, they are disappointed.

Our contentment as a human being grows overtime.

Just like, once you have tasted a 5 star restaurant food, you would prefer eating there everyday over carenderias (if you have the budget)

Our tastes label it as bland or boring na because the standard has been set high.

AI for now cannot be fully trusted. We have to review their work, still. And because of their imperfections, they cannot replace humans.

What fuels companies? =Money.

Where do you get money?

=Customers

How can you entice customers to buy?

=Quality customer service

And part of quality customer service is providing the right product, at the right way to satisfy the customer's  needs. Also, empathy.

Empathy= emotions

AI doesn't have emotions. They don't have unique personality.

They are not capable of empathizing. They have no soul.
Kasi if they can, there will be no more counselors and psychologists.

The challenge for the scientists, is how they could eliminate the imperfections and errors of the AI.

Cuz humans remain superior among the creations of God/nature.

If they can create perfect AI, and robots, then, they are Gods na. They can even create their own world or planet.

But they cannot, right?

Moreover, many prefer traditional stuffs because change is uncomfortable. New invention, new products, means risks. They would be spending a lots of money on a stuff that they are  not yet sure if it will  guarantee success or satisfy them.

Many are afraid of change.

AI, and other forms of technology replacing humans? It is far fetched. Impossible.
