Tawa-iyak parang tanga

Have you encountered people who cry and laugh at the same time?

Ang weird, no? Hindi ko sila naiintindihan noon. I mean, dapat umiiyak tayo pag sobrang lungkot. Tapos tatawa pag sobrang saya. Pero possible bang maging masaya at malungkot nang sabay, para tumawa't iyak ka?

I only understood them when I got kicked out on star section back at my second year highschool. Lol.

Yeah. Feelings are not bipolar. we can feel them alternately, or mixed, or altogether at the same time, like drinks poured and mixed to produce different kinds of tastes.

I learned that some things like goodbyes are bittersweet.

We cry because of the bitter taste of melancholy from separation.

We laugh because of the sweet taste of   happy memories.

Then we cry again because those memories will only remain as memories, gone forever. Never going back. The past is in the past.
