I saw a post recently, about a girl who murdered her own mother. Before that, she posted first a pic of her mom, with a long caption.
If you read that, maybe you would think that she's a loving daughter. But who would have thought that she actually slaughtered her mom, her own blood just because?
Funny. Social media is an illusion. A lie. A platform for people to display things about themselves. People flex their newly owned branded clothes and shoes, goes photoshooting and filtering their faces para lang magpalit ng DP. The more aesthetic, the more likes and comments!
John 3:16, Proverbs... are the crowd's favorite bible qoute. As if they read bible. As if they apply it in their life. As if they are angel sent people who don't judge others and use others for their benefit.
Not everything that we see on social media is actually true. I could post wholesome memes yet I like porn.( I don't actually. It's not literally me hahaha)
Social media is an avenue that can be used to create an illusion of what you really are. What you want to see people in you, what part of yourself you would like to share to the world, is what you post.
People believe what they only see. Many deceives but more are deceived.
