3rd person POV

Hyunjin and Chaerin got ready for their morning classes. As usual, Chaerin would take a long time to get ready while Hyunjin is just patiently waiting for her to keep changing her decisions on her outfit.

As soon as Chaerin was done, she got out of her room which made Hyunjin clap. The moment he did, she glared at him as if he had done something annoying. Well, he did.

"Let's go." Chaerin annoyingly said

They both went to the university to attend their morning class. When they got there, the professor wasn't there but they caught everyone's attention.

Are they dating?

No wonder they are always together.

They look good though.

Is Hyunjin allowed to date someone who is not a royal?

Girl, she is a royal. From the Ryu clan.

The reason why everyone's attention is on them is Hyunjin being so clingy. His arm is around her shoulder and he was smiling the whole time they were talking.

"Did you two go on a honeymoon? You guys didn't show up for two days." Jisung shouted which everyone heard and it caused another gossip for the students

"You guys, if you all have questions you can ask me directly." Hyunjin said

Chaerin pinched him, and he just laughed.

She went back to her seat while Hyunjin was standing in front– enjoying everyone's attention. It was as if he was in a formal interview.

"Are you and Chaerin dating?" someone asked

"Believe what you see." Hyunjin said, not giving them a direct answer to avoid confusion

"Are you staying at Chaerin's apartment? Someone has seen you going in and out there with Chaerin." someone said

"Aren't you even gonna ask if I own a unit on the same floor?" Hyunjin asked back

"Do you own–" person asked

"No. I don't. I'm staying at Chaerin's place for a few days now. We're just enjoying each others' company." Hyunjin said

Chaerin chuckled at how Hyunjin is answering the questions right now. She knows that he is doing that to prevent them from gossiping and talking about her.

"Is Chaerin pregnant?" someone asked

"What?" Jeongin reacted with a shock on his face because of the question, everyone also reacted to it.

"Someone saw you and Chaerin at the hospital yesterday. They thought they were just hallucinating but they saw the Ryu family as well. How would you explain that?" that person asked again

"First of all, if Chaerin is pregnant, she looks pretty huh. Second, her parents would be there because they are worried about her. Lastly, she is not pregnant. She was there because she was dehydrated and had a lot of alcohol during Seungmin's party. Was I able to answer your questions?" Hyunjin asked with a smile on his face

No one asked another question–

"I hope no one would ask Chaerin any silly questions now. If you guys did, I would be so furious and I don't even know what I am capable of doing. Anyway, spread the words." he said and went to his seat beside Seungmin

Chaerin who is sitting beside Minho was silently chuckling as she saw their reactions with what Hyunjin told them all. There's a part of her that bothers her mind but there's also a part that gives her a relief.

Minho looked at Chaerin, "What the heck was that? Just clarify things to me. Are you and Hyunjin dating? Why were you in the hospital?"

"I accidentally drank several sleeping pills and I was found unconscious the next morning. I was fine but I had to stay there for two days, and Aina visited me too, as well as my parents." Chaerin explained

"Aina knew and she didn't dare say anything to us?" Minho asked

"I told her not to. I didn't want anyone to think that I was trying to kill myself which I am not." Chaerin answered

"So, are you and Hyunjin dating?" Minho asked

"He confessed his feelings a few times and I do admit it's giving me butterflies but... You know how hurt I was with Felix and there's a part of me that still wants Felix." she explained

"Why is your life so complicated?" he asked

"I know and it's crazy. Hyunjin even asked me to marry him and gave me a ring." Chaerin said and showed him the ring

"What? He proposed?" he whispered

"No. This is a promise ring for me that he bought." Chaerin smiled

Minho looks confused with Chaerin.

Little did they know, Felix saw that Chaerin has a new ring that she showed to Minho. His eyes widened as his heart started beating fast. He is getting the wrong idea.

The moment Chaerin and Hyunjin entered the classroom, he was feeling jealous that he wanted to walk out of the room but he had to keep his composure.

He just built a good relationship with the two of them and there was no awkwardness at all. He didn't want to ruin it but his feelings are messing up with him. It's as if he doesn't have the right to get jealous now.

"If you're going to keep glancing at them, you should be sitting at the back to avoid them from noticing. You're too obvious." Jeongin said

"I wasn't looking at them." he defended

"You look jealous." Changbin whispered to him, who is sitting behind him

Jisung chuckled, "If looks could kill, Hyunjin's heart is probably not working by now."
