Minho's POV

"Minho." Mom called as she knocked on the door

"Yes?"

"Can you come out here?" Mom

I hurriedly opened the door and found Mom and Dad outside of my room. They seem like they anted to tell me something important and I don't know what it is. Am I involved with something dangerous?

"Have you heard about what happened to Chaerin?" Dad asked

"Did something happen to her? How is she? What happened?"

"Nothing bad happened but Chaerin didn't come home for a few days, and she wasn't in her apartment nor in the palace. King and Queen thought maybe she is with Felix." Dad

"How? He didn't come home too?"

"Yes. He didn't come home a few days now. Actually, the royal couple talked to us about it and they did find out that Chaerin and Felix are together." Mom answered

"R-Really?"

They found out. I am sure something will happen now that they found out. I mean the royal couple are great people but if it's about their image as the royal family, they would do everything.

"Are you involve with Chaerin and Felix's plan to run away?" Mom asked

"What?"

"Minho. Felix is in an arranged marriage with Song Aina, and he can't be with Chaerin no matter what happen. That will tarnish their image." Dad

"Fine. I did help them a little bit. Felix and Chaerin needed to talk to each other and find out what they are feeling for one another. It's not that I kidnapped and hid them. It was their choice to go to Haneuldo. Plus Felix doesn't want to get married."

"He has to." Mom

"Mom, I know but Felix would never let that happen. He loves Chaerin more than anything else. He loves her above anything else."

"Their family will be in big trouble if they will go against the rule of the jury, and the Song clan is part of it." Dad

They are right.

No matter how royal you are, if you go against the rule of the jury- punishment will always be given. It happened before in a royal family and they were removed from their title and was thrown out of the country.

"Make sure not to say anything. Sujin from Ryu clan has arrived a few minutes ago. He wanted to talk to you." Mom said

"I will. I promise."

As I went to the living room, Sujin is waiting there. He looks like he is in big trouble. What the fuck is happening?

"My parents said the royal couple found out?"

"Yes. They did. Actually, I picked up Chaerin from Haneuldo, and she is currently in a different apartment. She doesn't want to see Felix." Sujin

"How did they know?"

"I'm not sure. They just called Lady Iseul and told me to pick up Chaerin. I also heard that Felix has arrived in his apartment. I don't even know what's happening right now. Chaerin is crying all day." he said

"Let's go. I want to talk to her."

We both went to the apartment that Chaerin is staying at. It is in a different floor but same building with Felix. I knew this would happen but it was too soon. Also, how would the royal couple find out if no one knew about it except me and Sujin.

As we arrived, I saw Chaerin sitting on the sofa while arranging her clothes. She looks so exhausted from the trip.

"Hey."

She looked at me and hurriedly hugged me.

"I'm sorry. If only I didn't let this all happen, you wouldn't be hurt this much."

"H-He proposed last night." Chaerin whispered

My eyes widened.

"He doesn't want to marry Aina. We both knew about the marriage but I still said yes. I'm so stupid for acting like they will accept us." she cried between our hugs

He proposed?! That was so early!

"I know about the rule. Sujin told me but what am I supposed to do if he tried to talk to me?" she asked

I was the reason why Chaerin and Felix fell for each other even more. I am the reason why things are getting deeper between them. I am at fault for that but I don't want to regret it. After all, they deserve each other.

However, if this will hurt them both- I don't want it. I know it is so wrong of me to do this decision but I needed to do it. I need to make sure Chaerin will be fine and stop hurting.

"Hyunjin."

"What are you doing here?" he asked as he looks so sleepy

I entered his apartment, "I needed to talk to you."

"About what?" he asked

"Chaerin."

His expression changed.

"Chaerin does have feelings for Felix and they have been getting along in Haneuldo but... Royal couple wanted her to leave Felix alone as he is in an arranged marriage with Song Aina."

Hyunjin looks speechless. I am fucking ashamed to do this as I pushed Chaerin and Felix together knowing that Hyunjin likes her too. What can I do? I am doing this for Chaerin, not for them.

I am also sure that Hyunjin is the only one who would make her feel better the best.

"What? What is happening? All this time you knew what is happening and played dumb? Then Felix is in an arranged marriage?" he looks confused

"She needs you right now, Hyunjin."
