Jisung's POV

I woke up as I felt a headache. Fuck. I expected this already but I didn't know this would hurt so much.

Last night, Felix wanted to have a drink so he invited me, Seungmin, and Jeongin to go to a bar he got a reservation at. We thought it was some chill type of drinking, but he went wild.

He ordered a lot of alcohol. We arrived there and we just saw him finishing his third bottle of the alcohol. I hesitated to drink at first but he just looked so desperate.

I got ready for my morning class, and went to the university the moment I was done. All my friends are here, even Sujin, Chaerin, and Aina. Felix didn't come.

I am sure he wasn't able to wake up early.

Flashback

We arrived at the usual bar we go to, whenever we're planning to drink. Actually, we are all supposed to drink but everyone backed out when some of us had some other things to do.

Then Felix sent us a message saying that he is drinking and we should come over. I was just shocked when I saw Seungmin and Jeongin outside the bar. It turns out he invited them as well.
As we entered, we couldn't even walk properly as everyone was dancing in the middle of the dancefloor, and some were table hopping. One of the waiters just guided us to the VIP room where Felix is at.

The moment we entered, Felix was holding a bottle filled with alcohol, and there were empty bottles on the table. He was just drinking and he didn't even notice us arriving.

Seungmin, Jeongin, and I just glanced at one another. We knew something was up. We just didn't know what it was.

"Felix, what are you drinking?" Seungmin casually asked him and sat beside him

"What should we order?" Jeongin asked as he took the menu

"I needed this more than you do." I told Felix and took the bottle from his hand

I know he doesn't want to talk about it– we're not gonna ask him. If Felix wanted to share about what happened, he would. He would tell us everything.

"Who wants to get married?" Felix asked that caught our attention

"I do but not now. I am still in my hoe phase."

"I am just starting to think about that and I didn't really want to get married, not until I finish my studies." Seungmin said

"It depends on who I was going to marry. I am kind of picky with people I want to spend my time with." Jeongin said

"How about Aina? Marry her. She's nice and smart. Second most royal- no. Fuck that title. Aina is better off without her parents." Felix said

"Are we here because he is marrying Aina?" Jeongin whispered to me

"Shut your mouth." Seungmin told him

Felix suddenly screamed and threw the empty bottles across the room. He kept crying and shouting at the same time.

That made us silent.

"Felix."

"Why me? What did I do to deserve this? Did I do something wrong?! Was I a bad person?" he cried so much

"I don't know what's going on but let's find a way to fix the problem-" Seungmin

"This stupid title is the problem." he whispered

During our class, I was hoping Felix would show up to ask what really happened. I mean he didn't say a word about his problem and cried all night.

What more caught my attention is that Chaerin looks different now compared to yesterday. She is all smiley and very energetic today. I wonder if she knew something.

"What's wrong with your face, your highness?" Chaerin asked as she saw me outside the classroom during our break time

"What do you mean?"

"You look so worried. I mean I can see all those-" Chaerin stopped and leaned on the wall beside me, "Is there something bothering you?"

"Felix."

That took her smile away.

"I have no idea what is happening with him. I just knew he has a problem and it's something about his marriage with Aina."

"Actually, I needed to talk to someone about this and it's bothering me so much. Felix went to me and we talked." Chaerin said

"You guys did? Is it after or before we drank?"

"I don't know but he was sober when we talked." she said

"Maybe it's before. He looks like a mess after we dropped him off at his apartment."

"Long story short, we just got along in Haneuldo while we were away for the past few days. He proposed to me, then the next day his parents came and talked to me. They wanted me to leave him alone because he is getting married. So, I did. Last night, he talked to me and we had no choice but to let things be." Chaerin said

"What? How come I didn't know about any of that? So, you were the reason why he drank all night, threw glasses across the room, cried, screamed? I thought it was because of Aina."

"Aina? Why?" she asked

"He kept saying things as if he doesn't want to get married and kept telling us to take his position. He even cursed his title and position as the Prince."

"It was really hard though. Leaving him without any goodbye then we suddenly talked. I really thought we can fight for each other-" Chaerin

"If he can't, you should. It's worth fighting for."

She smiled at me, "Jisung, it's worth fighting for but there will be regrets in the end."
