Hyunjin's POV
I woke up the next day to prepare for my morning class. I was expecting that Chaerin would still be sleeping as we slept really late last night. I just cooked breakfast and left it on the table, she told me not to wake her up so I'm not gonna do it.
Last night, Felix and Aina were at the apartment. I cooked for them, and the four of us ate together as we talked about things. To be honest, I wasn't expecting that kind of moment with them.
Everyone clearly knows what Felix and Chaerin had at Haneuldo but they played it cool last night. It was like they never liked each other or even got hurt. It was just a simple get together without any hard feelings.
My friends kept asking after I sent them the photos I took with them last night. They were so intrigued to know how we ended up having so much fun when Minho literally dropped bombs at Seungmin's party.
I left the apartment and attended my class. As expected, my friends are staring at me as they have a lot of questions to ask but I chose to sit far from them to avoid any distractions.
"Belated happy birthday, your highness." Professor greeted Seungmin and bowed
"Thank you, sir." Seungmin smiled
He continued his lecture and even gave us tasks to do while he was computing our grades. Unfortunately, Jisung managed to get to where I was sitting without getting caught. A smile appeared on his face as we glanced at each other.
"What happened?" Jisung asked
"Nothing happened."
"What the fuck? Answer me properly. How come you guys ended up eating together at Chaerin's apartment? I can feel the tension during the party. What the heck happened?" Jisung asked again
"Nothing. I already told you. We just decided to eat soup but there was no restaurant open at that time. I volunteered to cook for them at Chaerin's apartment, they agreed. Then we just talked about things."
"Things like what?" he asked
"Do you have to know everything?"
"Things like how you managed to make her fall for you when she is clearly in love with Felix? Or was it, how can she move on fast as if there's nothing serious between the two of them?" Jisung asked
"Fuck. Can't you see? I'm doing something."
"Han Jisung, go back to your seat." Professor told him
Jisung glared at me and went back to his seat.
I chuckled when I saw how annoyed he was.
Felix arrived late– we did a fistbump which is why our friends are staring at us. As if it was the first time they saw me and Felix greeting each other. I mean yeah, after what happened to him and Chaerin.
He sat beside me, "Are we supposed to do something today? I didn't know."
"You can ask Hyunjin about the assigned task." Professor said as he saw Felix sitting beside me
I told Felix what we are supposed to do. He had some questions about it but he managed to catch up properly. I can feel how our friends are dying to sit by us and ask questions about last night.

I have been dialing Chaerin's phone but she is not answering at all. I wonder if she's still asleep? I mean it's almost noon. As much as I wanted to stay for the next class, I have to go to her.
"Where are you going? We have a lot of questions to ask." Changbin said as he blocked the door
"Yeah. Why are you and Chaerin with Felix?" Jisung asked
"I just offered to cook for them. Nothing else. There's nothing to talk about."
They looked at me suspiciously.
"Believe me or not, it was so awkward for us."
"Really? It doesn't look awkward for me." Felix said as he appeared beside me
"Great. You go and tell them everything. I have to go. This is urgent."
"Why? What happened?" Jeongin
"Just get out of my way."
They did let me pass by.
I went back to the apartment, straight to the lobby, "Can you please dial apartment 1426, Ahn Chaerin."
"Sure, sir." receptionist said and started dialing the number
His expression says it all. No one is picking up the telephone.
"Have you seen her come down?"
"Not yet, sir. We haven't seen her since last night." receptionist said
"Thank you."
I hurriedly rode the elevator to the 14th floor where Chaerin's apartment is. I don't even know how. I can't explain why my heart is beating so fast as if there's something that I should be nervous about.
As I am trying to unlock the main door with my keys, my hands are trembling. Fuck. What's wrong with me today? It's making me more nervous now that I can't even unlock the door properly.
"Your highness, is there something wrong?" staff of the building asked as he went to me
"I can't open it."
"May I?" he asked and tried to open the door with the keys, and it opened.
As soon as the door opened, I ran to Chaerin's room and it was locked. I knocked numerous times and shouted her name but there was no response at all. I kept knocking with all my strength.
"Sir, I think we should open the door." the man from earlier said
"I don't have the key to her room."
He kept looking around to find something to open the door. I looked in the kitchen drawers and found a mallet underneath the sink. I took it and broke the doorknob– door opened...
"Ahn Chaerin!"
