Aina's POV

I am currently at a hideout with Felix and his friends. To be honest, I didn't want to be here, go to Seungmin's party, or even be seen with Felix in public. I didn't want how people were criticizing me for something I also didn't want.

Felix and I had no choice but to always be seen together as if we were dating. My parents said it was for the best to be seen together so people would think we had something special for each other.

It was no joke– everything. I am receiving hate and hurtful words from people. They knew my parents wanted the throne so much which is why I am being set up with Felix. Just like Felix, I didn't want to get married. I can feel all the people's glare as if they want me gone.

"Aina, how are you?" Chan asked me as we were left here at the usual spot

"I am fine–"

"Really? Is that even the truth? Or you were just pretending to be fine because you had to?" he asked

That question got me.

"I am really fine although I am getting a lot of hate because I am getting married to the prince. I mean that's normal, right? Anyone who will marry Felix might experience the same."

Chan nodded, "If you need help, you can always count on me– no. Us."

"Thank you–" I was surprised when I received a call, "I'll take this call."

"Sure!" Chan smiled

I looked at who was calling and it's Hyunjin...

"Hello?"

[Aina, where are you?] he asked while breathing deeply

"I'm with Felix and your friends. Hideout. What's wrong with you? Are you out of breath?"

[I just... Can you please go here? I'm at the hospital.]

"What? Hospital?!"

[I'll send you the address.]

"Okay. I'll go." I said and ended the call, then I received the name of the hospital

I just told Chan that I will be leaving as my parents need to talk to me. I rode a cab to the hospital, and didn't waste my time and looked for the floor and room number that Hyunjin sent me.

As I arrived at the right floor, I saw Hyunjin sitting in front of a private room. His head leaned on the wall, eyes closed.

"Hyunjin, what happened? Why are you here?"

"It's Chaerin." he answered

"What? What happened to Chaerin?"

We both entered the private room and Chaerin was inside. She's unconscious and there is an IV drip for her. She looks pale and her eyes are puffy.

"What happened to her?"

"I thought she was sleeping when I left to attend our morning class. She wasn't replying to me nor answering my calls. Receptionist said, Chaerin never left the apartment. I had to break the door of her room to make sure she's there but she was unconscious." Hyunjin said, and I can hear how worried he is

"What did the doctor say?"

"Drug overdose." Hyunjin said

What the hell?

"Did... Did she do it on purpose?"

Hyunjin nodded, "The doctor said she probably did it intentionally. I don't know... I am just– I don't even know what to do. I'm scared."

His tears fell.

"Hyunjin."

"I shouldn't have left her alone. I should've stayed with her the whole time– maybe this wouldn't happen if I stayed with her. It was my fault." he cried

"It wasn't your fault. Don't blame yourself. All we have to do is wait for Chaerin to wake up and I am sure the doctors are taking good care of her."

He gave me a nod as tears fell from his eyes.

"You stay here with her. I'll talk to her doctor. She's outside." I said as I noticed a doctor outside the room

As I went outside, I talked to the doctor and she said Chaerin is fine now and they were just monitoring her vital signs. She also had to stay here for a day or two to make sure she is doing fine, and she is also dehydrated which they had to focus on as well.

Hyunjin is sitting on a chair beside Chaerin's bed while holding her hand. He is just staring at her as if he didn't want to let another second pass by without staring at her.

"Hyunjin. Chaerin can go home after a day or two."

He looked like he just got a bullet out of his heart. I just can feel how worried he is, and if I didn't go here. He would be panicking and wouldn't know what to do at all.

"Does her parents know?"

"Not yet. I will wait for Chaerin to wake up and ask her about it. I don't know if she wants them to be here." Hyunjin

Hyunjin just told me that he will buy some food and get some clothes for Chaerin, and asked me to stay with Chaerin for the meantime and wait for him to come back.

After a few minutes of Hyunjin not being here, she opened her eyes as if she just woke up from a long dream.

"Aina?" she called

"What happened to you? What did you do? Are you okay?"

She chuckled and nodded, "Why are you here? Were you the one who saw me in my room?"

"No. Hyunjin called me here so he could get some things for you."

She didn't answer.

"Hyunjin is so worried about you."
