Hyunjin's POV

"Hey, how are you feeling?" I asked as I came out of the bathroom when I saw her awake

"I want to go home, take a bath, and sleep on my bed. I have never felt this much tired even though I didn't do anything. My body felt heavy as if something is on me-" Chaerin

"Maybe you gained weight from eating the fruits."

She glared at me.

"I am kidding, Chaerin. Don't worry the doctors said you can either go home today or tomorrow. Just be patient."

"Or be a patient." she said

After we had a conversation yesterday, I asked her about her parents. I told her that she should let them know that she is in the hospital and it's normal for them to be worried. She was hesitating at first but she eventually gave in and told me to let them go here.

One thing she didn't know is they are coming here right now. It was a few minutes ago when they said they are on their way here, I'm sure they are already at the hospital since they are really near here.

"My phone is dead. I am sure Jeongin would keep asking where I am." Chaerin said

"Just rest. I will tell them about it when you're fine."

"Hyunjin, what if I died? What will you do?" she asked

"I will scold you for leaving me alone."

"Really? Are you not going to cry for me?" she asked once again

"No. I will just stay with you the whole time you are having a funeral, and would visit you everyday most of my time."

"That's better." Chaerin smiled

"You're not going to die, Chaerin. I would never let that happen."

"What if I die from an illness?" she asked

"I would find the best team of doctors to get you treated. I would never stop until you recover and healed."

"What if from accident?" she asked

"I will find the best doctors. I have so many connections. I would never let you die. Stop asking about death. I love you and you're not leaving this world."

FUCK-

Did I just say I love you? All of a sudden. Really? Shit.

"Chaerin?" Lady Iseul called as she entered the room along with Sujin and Lord Hoon, "How are you? What happened? Are you hurt?"

She kept crying.

"Mom, I'm fine. I just accidentally drank the sleeing medications. I didn't know it would be this bad." Chaerin defended herself

"I have heard from Chaerin about what happened to you, and about Felix as well. I am sorry you had to endure the pain alone. I was so worried when I found out. I'm sorry." Lady Iseul cried

Chaerin chuckled, "Mom, it's not your fault. Stop worrying about, okay? In fact, Felix and I are in good terms now. You can ask Hyunjin. Right? Hyunjin?"

"Yes. We're friends with them."

"See? I told you." Chaerin told her Mom

"Hyunjin. I have heard from Minho and Sujin that you were with her the whole time things happened. Thank you for staying with Chaerin." Lord Hoon said

I bowed, "Chaerin is an important person in my life. I would never let her be alone. Never."

"Thank you." he smiled

"There's something I would like to talk to you about, sir."

Chaerin is finally discharged after she finished the medicine in her IV. We were told some things that we are not allowed to do yet and I was also told to keep an eye on her so she won't make the same mistake again.

Lord Hoon and Lady Iseul wanted Chaerin to come home but she refused. I just assured them that Chaerin will be in good care while I'm with her at his apartment. With the help of Sujin, he convinced them.

Currently, I am driving my car on our way home and Chaerin is sitting beside me. She even wanted to drive but I refused since she is not that fine yet and she needs rest.

"I told Aina that we're going home. She said she would visit when she as soon as she's done with some things."

"Really? Did you charge my phone? I wanted to call her." she said

"I... didn't. I'm sorry."

"It's fine." she smiled and charged her phone

"Chaerin, I don't think you should use-"

"Why? Are you trying to protect me from seeing about Aina and Felix's wedding?" she asked

"What? No-"

"Hyunjin, I already know about it. Aina told me. There's nothing you should hide. Thank you for protecting me but I am fine." she smiled at me

That made me quiet. I did everything I can to hide the news from her. I kept the television off, I didn't charge her phone. No matter how many times she tried telling me she is bored, I didn't give it to her.

I didn't want her to be hurt but I guess... I was wrong. She already knew about the news of the date of the royal wedding. Chaerin did felt hurt but she took it too well.

"I have great idea that you might actually like."

"Are you sure I would like that? Be sure. What is it?" she asked she he glared at me

"Why are you sounding like you are threatening me?"

She chuckled.

"Anyway, since Felix and Aina are getting married at this young age. What do you think of me?"

"You mean?" she looks confused

"Let's get married, Ahn Chaerin."
