Chaerin's POV

I woke up as I heard numerous knocks on the door of my room. There is no one who would do such a thing but Hyunjin. Last night, I slept late as Hyunjin and I agreed to play some board games he bought.

He said if one of us didn't win, we are not supposed to hold any gadgets we have or even watch the television. I lost. I had no choice but to give him all my gadgets for the whole night.

I can't sleep properly as I have so much in my mind. It felt like there was a traffic of thoughts that can't move unless they are being handled properly.

"What?" I asked as I opened the door

"I bought you breakfast." he said and showed me some food he is holding

Ever since I let Hyunjin stay here with me, the apartment has become so noisy. He is keeping me busy and distracted which I know why but didn't dare to stop him at all.

"Let's go." he said and pulled me out of my room

He then prepared breakfast on the table and sat beside me. I started eating as well as him. I am grateful to him at some point.

I mean if I were the only one here, I would lie on my bed and spend the whole day crying as if it was the only thing I could do in my life. That's why I appreciate Hyunjin and everything he does for me.

He would cook a meal, lunch, dinner, breakfast, and would even order food for late night snacks. He would ask to study together, and would watch a movie right after.

Hyunjin is here for only two days and I'm just getting to know him deeper, but it felt like years. It felt like I have been with him ever since I was alive.

"Did you cry last night?" he asked me

I shook my head.

"Promise?" he asked

I showed him a playful smile.

"You're not lying, are you?" he raised his eyebrow

"No, I didn't cry but I was drowning in my own thoughts. I mean I can't avoid that, right?"

He nodded, "I agree but try to distract yourself with other things as well."

"Are you doing all these things because you like me?"

He looked away.

"What? I caught you, didn't I?"

Hyunjin laughed, "I like you but I'm not doing all these things for you to like me. I mean even if I don't like you, I would do all these things for you."

"Why?"

"You're Chaerin, that's why." he smiled

"Should I consider myself lucky now?"

"I think you should. Well, I am aware a lot of ladies are inlove with me but I'm reserved for you only." he showed a playful smile

"Shut up. You're just annoying me."

After having lunch with Hyunjin, we both decided to go to the mall and buy some things we needed for the party. I have never been invited to a party by someone from a royal community.

Also, Hyunjin left some of his things in their house, so he had to go to the mall and buy an outfit. We are also going to buy a gift for Seungmin.

Right now, we're at the mall. I already bought things I needed for the party, and Hyunjin is currently trying on the outfits he chose.

I didn't want to go to the party because I am pretty sure Felix and Aina will be there but I had no choice but to show up. If I don't, I will look like I can't get over him.

"How about this?" he asked

"Uh... I think it looks good on you."

"You've said the same thing several times now." Hyunjin said

"I'm sorry but everything looks good on you. I can't choose."

"You sure you can't choose? Or you were just thinking of other things?" he raised his eyebrow

"I just can't choose."

"Okay, then. Choose one." he said

I sighed.

"Choose." Hyunjin repeated

"That one. You look handsome."

He nodded then went back to the fitting room. He changed his clothes and paid for everything he bought. I meant everything he tried on.

"Where are we going to buy Seungmin's gift?"

"I already did." he said

"What?"

"I paid for all the alcohol at the venue." Hyunjin

"Okay? That's it?"

"Yeah. He already has everything except for a girlfriend. I don't know where to get that." he said and smirked

We both decided to go home as he said the glam team he talked to will be at the apartment in 30 minutes. Did I already mention that he took care of everything? And I just need to be there.

"Have you thought of what you're going to do the moment you saw Felix and Aina?" Hyunjin asked

"Am I supposed to do anything?"

"Yes because the last time you guys talked, you both cried at the door of your apartment. It is going to be awkward-" Hyunjin

"You saw us?"

"I can't help it– I mean I am staying at your place." Hyunjin said

I sighed.

"What? I'm sorry. I accidentally saw you both." he laughed

I rolled my eyes and opened the radio for him not to talk anymore. He was just laughing the whole time even though I know he is fully aware that I am annoyed by him.

"I mean all people are getting engaged nowadays–"

"Speaking of engagement. Have you heard the news? Prince Felix and Princess Aina are engaged!"
