3rd person POV

Marriage is defined by numerous studies as a union between two individuals who are ready to share commitments and responsibilities with each other. Take note that it should be a mutual decision between two lovers. On the other hand, arranged marriage is also a union between two individuals; however, a family member plays important role in choosing the partner.

Felix and Aina are in a setting of arranged marriage where their family member/s are involved in choosing their partner. Meanwhile, Aina and Hyunjin belong to the ordinary marriage where they choose their own partner to be with their whole life.

Chaerin does belong to an ordinary marriage where she chooses her partner on her own, but there's one thing she can't control... whether that partner will choose her as well.

"What are we going to do now?" Aina asked

They are currently in Hyunjin's car, sitting quietly, rethinking the decision they have made. It wasn't easy but they had to. They had another choice but they chose to keep in that path they first chose.

"I don't know. I am not sure." Hyunjin answered as he stares into nothingness with that heavy feeling he has in his heart, "Same question. What are we supposed to do now?"

Aina chuckled.

"Did I make the right decision?" he asked

"You didn't but you thought it was for the best." she answered

"Do you regret backing me up earlier in front of your parents? That was so brave of you." Hyunjin

"I don't regret it. It was kind of fun and I felt relief. That was the first time I did that. I didn't know I would be that brave." Aina said

Hyunjin sighed, "No offense but why do you have those kind of parents? They are thinking of themselves and not you. It's like you are welcomed into this world just to be their doll to use."

She laughed.

"Ask me back. I want to answer." Hyunjin

"Do you regret making that decision of marrying me?" Aina asked

"I... do regret it." Hyunjin

Aina was quiet.

"The first time I saw her at the palace, I just felt like I know her from somewhere. I kept thinking where but then I realized she was my wife." Hyunjin chuckled

"Huh? Who? Chaerin?" Aina asked

He nodded, "It was just in my dream. I had a whole life with her and I admit it wasn't perfect but I was the happiest. From that day I recognized her, I promised myself that I would wait for her to notice me."

"Did she-" Aina

"No. She noticed Felix first. Well, it wasn't easy for me at first but things happen. You and Felix happened. I finally had the chance. I am actually asking her to marry me since yesterday. We actually agreed." Hyunjin

"Even if she doesn't have feelings for you?" she asked

"Hmm... her presence beside me is enough. Earlier, I asked her parents for permission and they did say yes but when I got home, it felt different. I know no matter what I do, she is still inlove with Felix." Hyunjin

Aina listened.

"In my dream, I already experienced having that beautiful life with her. I think Felix would do everything to experience the same thing." he cried

Hours passed, Chaerin is still in her room messaging Hyunjin as she is worried of him. After crying about Felix, she just snapped out of it and was determined to move forward now with Hyunjin. She finally decided to learn to love Hyunjin, and realized it wasn't hard.

She didn't have dinner and just waited for Hyunjin's call or message. Her heart is crying over Felix but her mind wanted Hyunjin. It was a fight of herself, mind, and heart.

The moment she heard someone knocked on her door, she quickly opened it and saw Hyunjin standing there. He is holding the food he bought for Chaerin to eat. A smile appeared on his face.

"What took you so long? I am so worried." she said and hugged him tight, she needed that.

"Why? You missed me already?" he asked

"Silence." she whispered

Hyunjin hugged her as well and caress her back, "Why? Did something happen to you? Did you cry? Were you bothered about something again? If you're gonna do that everytime I'm not here, your eyes would get puffy everyday."

"You're always here." she answered

"Sena wanted me home. She needed help about something. I didn't want to go home but I have to." Hyunjin

She let go of the hug and looked at him, "Are you serious?"

He nodded.

"Why so sudden? Are you and Sena fine now? You said she kicked you out." Chaerin

Hyunjin laughed, "We're fine now. Don't worry. She can't avoid me for so long, she needed me for something important."

Chaerin sighed, "Okay. Take care of yourself and avoid annoying your sister."

"Can I ask you to do me so many favors?" Hyunjin asked

"Sure. What is it?" she asked

He hugged her again, "Chaerin, while I'm not here, make sure to eat proper meal on time, avoid ordering fast food, have proper sleep, always lock your doors and windows when you're alone."

"Okay." she answered

"Take care of yourself, okay?" Hyunjin

"Hmm..." she responded

A tear fell from his eyes, "Take care of yourself because I'm not gonna be around anymore to do that for you."
