Aina's POV

I woke up as soon as I heard my alarm rang. Everyday is the same, I had to wake up for my classes and go home after attending those. It was really boring for me as I never really wanted to be a royal but I had to. I was born royal.

Being a princess of a second most royal here in Korea, is really hard. If anything happens to the Lee clan, Felix's family, we're second in line for the throne which I hated. I hate being a princess. I hate all this.

I never had friends nor I had ordinary days that I could hangout without being recognized. I am even required to study what my parents wanted me to as it will help with our public image, they said.

"Aina." Mom called from outside my room

"I'm just preparing." I answered and continued fixing my things to bring for today's class

I went to the bathroom, took a bath, and got ready for my class. As soon as I am done, I went downstairs carrying all my things.

"Good morning-"

"Felix was in Haneuldo with a lady for a few days." Dad said

"Oh, great."

"Aina, you are going to marry that man. What do you mean great?" Dad

"It's not her fault. She doesn't know either." Mom defended me

I actually know about Felix and Chaerin being in the island but I never told anyone about it even tho Hyunjin suspected it. I mean I don't wanna marry Felix and I'm getting benefit from what he is doing. I have always know that Felix and Chaerin will be a thing, they are just too scared to admit it.

"With what he did, their family will be in great trouble." Dad

"What?"

"The royal family could spend their life in jail, they could be thrown out of the country, or a death sentence. As for the girl, I am not sure but she and her family would get involve as well." Mom

"What? That harsh? Just because we didn't get married, they would do such things to them? He didn't do anything wrong-"

"He did something wrong. He ran away with a girl. He is not supposed to do that as he is already in an arranged marriage with you." Dad

"How did the King and Queen knew about their whereabouts?"

"Well, the man in the port to Haneuldo. We just asked him about Felix and Chaerin-" Dad

"No. I doubt you just asked him. What did you do?!"

"Fine. We scared him a little bit. Don't worry." Dad

What the fuck?

As soon as I knew it was their fault, I left the house and drove to the school. I wasn't really gonna attend my class, instead, I'm gonna talk to Felix about what my parents did, and what might happen to his parents we didn't get married.

I parked the car and hurriedly went to Felix's apartment. I'm not even sure he is here but Dad said Felix was in Haneuldo. I am assuming he went home already.

I knocked on the door a few times but no one answered-

Door opened, "Why are you here?"

"We need to talk."

"About?" Felix

"About you and Chaerin."

He gestured me to come in, "No matter what kind of talking you will do, nothing will change my mind. I will marry Chaerin-"

"I didn't want to get married. I never wanted to marry anyone. My parents wanted those."

He just looked at me.

"Look, I'm sorry this happened. How are you and Chaerin?"

"I asked her to marry me. It was so beautiful. We spent those days with each other, we were both so happy. It was like no one is against us being together not until Mom and Dad came. Next morning, I woke up and didn't find Chaerin in the rest house." Felix

"I'm sorry. I'm really sorry. I think my parents are at fault. They scared the man in the port and they found out where you are. Dad told your parents about it."

"Are you serious?" he asked

I nodded, "Felix, I know nothing will change your mind but I am scared for you and your family. I know Mom and Dad, I know what they are capable of if they didn't get what they wanted."

"What do you mean? What are they going to do?" Felix

"If someone did not obey the rules of the jury, there will be punishment. Your parents will spend their lifetime in jail, it is also possible that you guys will be thrown out of the country, or..."

"Or what, Aina?" he asked

"Felix, let's just-"

"What the fuck are you gonna tell me?! Or what? They will get killed?!" Felix asked

I nodded.

"Are you serious?" he cried

"I'm sorry, Felix. I'm really sorry."

"Just because we are not going to marry each other, they will kill someone?! How fucking stupid that law is! Fuck them!" he shouted and threw things on the wall

I didn't talk.

"Do you think my parents knew about it?" he asked

I nodded, "Your Mom and Dad were in an arranged marriage as well. They have no choice but to marry each other. I'm sorry this happened. I wanted to help you as well but I'm scared for my parents."

"Mom and Dad knew about that death sentence... I thought they only cared for the throne." Felix whispered

"I'm sorry."
