Changbin's POV

Hyunjin left during breaktime and didn't come back. He said he had something to do but he didn't show anymore, maybe it was really urgent. We just had our breakfast and went back to our classroom.

"Let's have a drink! Our professor is not here. We still have 1 hour and 30 minutes." Jisung said as I entered the classroom

"What do you mean he won't be here?"

"He said he had something to do, and told us to self-study the previous lecture we had." Jeongin answered

"Are we drinking?" Minho asked

"Dude. You're scared when you drink." Seungmin

Minho laughed.

"Let's go to the hideout." Chan said

Hideout is the name of a place where students go to have some fun, it has different activities, like board games, billiards, there is a karaoke, and you can also order drinks and food, there is also another floor for the study hub.

As agreed, we went to the hideout without Felix and Hyunjin. Felix left as well because the royal couple wanted to talk to him, he also said that he will just go to hideout after. Hyunjin is out of reach. We didn't have to use our car, it was within walking distance.

"I'll order." Chan said as he went to the counter along with Jisung

We went to our usual spot which is near the billiards area while Chan is ordering food for us. Seungmin and Jeongin started playing billiards. Payment will depend on how many times we played.

"Were you drunk last night? We didn't get to ask you about what you said because you left with them. Also, Felix and Hyunjin were with us earlier."

"I wasn't drunk and I know what I told them." Minho said

"Your reason to keep dropping bombs last night?"

"I feel like I should get blamed for what is happening to Chaerin. Did you know that if Felix pushed through on fighting for her, her family could get involved in the punishment by the jury?" Minho

"What?"

Minho nodded, "I was the one who made them be together the night that suddenly left. It felt like if I didn't do it, Chaerin wouldn't be crying every night. They are both hurt but Chaerin is having the worst experience."

"Wait– Is Hyunjin and Chaerin not even in a relationship?"

"It is true that they are staying at Chaerin's place but I found out from Sena that he was kicked out of the house for refusing to leave Chaerin." Minho

"Then why do they look like a real couple? I mean everything between Chaerin and Hyunjin looks natural."

He chuckled, "Hyunjin knew Chaerin is inlove with Felix, and no matter what he does, it won't mean anything to her. On the other hand, Chaerin knows Hyunjin is doing things out of kindness but she is aware that he has feelings for her."

"Shit. How about the one about them leaving the country? Is that even true?"

"No. I just want to trigger Felix and show him that Chaerin is doing well even without him. I don't want to see Chaerin losing to him."

"Are you serious? Do you like her?"

"No! Asshole." Minho said

The conversation ended as Chan arrived with the food and drinks he ordered for all of us. He took Jeongin's turn while Jisung was eating the food they ordered.

"Have you guys seen the article?" Jisung asked

"What article?" Seungmin asked

"Oh. You guys haven't read yet. It was about Felix and Aina's wedding. They released a date when it will happen." Jisung said and showed us his phone

... the palace has released an official date for the much-anticipated royal wedding of Prince Felix and Princess Aina. Mark your calendars, for the royal nuptials will take place on Saturday, the 3rd of January, in the year of 2025.

"Are they serious?" Seungmin asked

"That's less than 2 weeks from now. Why are they rushing?"

"I thought it would be after 2 years. What's with the sudden decision?" Seungmin asked

"I'm sure it was the Song clan that pushed through the date even though Felix didn't want it." Minho said

"Is this why Hyunjin suddenly left earlier? For Chaerin?" Chan asked as he also read the article

After a few minutes, Felix arrived at the hideout along with Aina. I know I'm in no position to say this but this whole situation is so fucked up. It's obvious that the Song clan wanted Felix's throne.

"Hey." Chan greeted Felix

"What took you so long?" Jisung asked

"I had to make some decisions– I mean we." Felix said

"I know you guys have heard about the wedding date. Believe it or not but we never made that decision. It was all my parents. They wanted the wedding to be done as soon as possible." Aina said

Felix gave us a nod as he agreed to her.

"What can we do? Congratulations to the both of you. It's finally happening." Minho said

"I'm sorry–" Aina

"It's not your fault. I'm sorry for the words but your parents are assholes for making you do something like this." Minho said

Seungmin looked at me as he signaled to me that there is something wrong with Minho. Why does it feel like he didn't drop those bombs last night for Chaerin?

What if he is doing all these crazy things because he likes Aina?
