Hyunjin's POV

After our class, I just waited for Chaerin and Sujin to leave, then I went home. Sena wanted to talk to me about something important, she said. I am not sure what it is but she wanted me to come home as soon as possible.

As soon as I went home, I saw Sena in the dining area. There are foods being prepared by the maids and she is eating whatever she wanted to eat.

"I just finished my class-"

"Sit down." she said

I sat down, "What is it?"

"Tell me the truth. Are you involved with the recent problem about Chaerin and Felix?" Sena

"What?"

"They were at Haneuldo these past few days, knowing Felix is in an arranged marriage with Aina. I want to know if you knew about it." Sena

"I actually found out the next day they didn't show up."

"You didn't know anything." she said

"I just found out-"

"You didn't know anything, Hyunjin. That's what you will tell others if they asked you. You have no idea at all." she said as she glared at me

"What's wrong with you?!"

"Do you know what will happen to the royal family, as well as the Ryu clan? They will be thrown out of this country, spend their whole life in jail, and get killed." Sena

"For that lame reason?"

"As someone from the royal community, we are not supposed to be breaking the rule, rather we should be the first to obey it as we are being viewed as role models." she added

I just know that there are punishments for those who will break the rule. For ordinary people, they will be given light punishments. However, it is the opposite in the royal community. They are fighting for the throne. Everyone is fighting for it.

"I want you to stay away from Chaerin-" Sena

"No! Why would I?! What kind of person I am, leaving her and throwing her under the bus just because of what I found out?!"

"Mom and Dad worked hard for everything we have! They worked hard for us to be on the third rank of royals! We are here because of them! Don't you fucking ruin everything for your stupid selfishness!" she shouted at me

"If you plan on living your whole life as someone's shadow, so be it. I am not gonna do that. I will live every fucking day with how I wanted it to be. No one will dictate me what to do, not even you."

I started walking away- I heard a the slide of the gun being pulled, as if it was getting ready to shoot something.

"Stop where you are!" she shouted

I pointed my gun to her as well, "I'm tired of this game, Sena."

I arrived at the apartment where Chaerin is staying at. I knocked on her door and she opened it. She smiled as soon as she saw me standing at her door, then signaled me to come in.

"Chaerin, I know I'm stupid but Sena is kind of mad at me. She wanted me to leave the house and never come back. We almost killed each other-"

"Are you asking if you can stay here? Of course. No problem with me. I mean that will be great. You know it's kind of hard to be alone after what happened." Chaerin said

"Thank you."

She looked like an excited child, welcoming her friend home. Chaerin even showed me the extra room where I will be staying. It only has bed, a dresser, side table, and study table inside.

"I'm still gonna buy some things- Ah! Speaking of. Can I ask you a favor?" she asked

"Sure."

"You know, some of my things are still in Felix's apartment. It was packed already and I was gonna get it but he arrived earlier than expected." Chaerin

"Yeah, sure. I'll get it."

I don't even know why I said yes to what Chaerin asked me to do. I mean this is not a problem but I know it will be awkward for me and Felix. I am sure he is fully aware of my feelings for Chaerin.

"Oh. Hey." Felix greeted

"Chaerin's things."

"It's in her room." he said and guided me to her room

It was three medium sized boxes. I carried it one by one outside the room as there is a push cart trolley for these boxes. I was about to leave when I found Felix in his room, he is laughing while he is holding his phone.

"How come you can laugh when Chaerin is so devastated?"

He looked at me.

"Look, I know I'm in no position to talk to you about it but seeing Chaerin hurting, hurts me too. I do have feelings for her that's why I am with her but I know she will be happy with you."

He didn't talk.

"Why don't you win her back-"

"Why should I? She left me. Why would I beg and please her when she clearly doesn't want to be with me at all." he said with a sarcastic expression on his face

"If she had a choice, she would never leave you!"

"She always had a choice-" Felix

"Bullshit. You're an asshole! You are a fucking asshole."

"Whatever." he said

"I thought you love her but I guess you don't love her enough to trust everything she is doing. It is all for you. All because of you."
