-Takeru's POV-
"...hm... so they beat a Tyrant. It's not surprising considering how she almost finished her basic training."
Listlessly mumbling to myself, I oversaw the progress of the two brats who still dared to go through the training. To be honest, they got along so well that I was surprised to an extent.
In fact, I didn't implement the chain just to halt their progress. It's so that they could understand how it's impossible for a person to live all alone for their entire life. Even I, who always occupied myself with researches always found the time to interact with nature and spirits were simply tiny humans floating like butterflies.
And yet, after a few months, these two kids became a tag team who devastated everything like a certain idiotic couple. Heck, one of them was their daughter so I could understand the main problem of my method.
"This is bad... it's too lukewarm. I have to use a few more installments to make them give up. Must use the best weapon to crush their wills even if they have to receive broken bones and spewing innards."
I stood up and left the summit. It was now a race against time as the training would end in three days. I took times off for my researches but in the end, I was also at fault for not checking them out.

"Phew...... that was tiresome."I heaved a sigh in exhaustion. After the battle I of course took the spoils and materials needed to make weapons and simple crafting. Unfortunately, with the way I am, it's impossible to make potions or advanced bladesmithing.
Also, I severely lacked offensive skills. I didn't mean the swordsmanship I learned under father was useless but most of the techniques I obtained were double-edged. In short, they were suicidal attacks which would harm me more often than harming my enemy. I didn't even dare to use the Step from number Seven to Eleven because I would die. Melinda isn't here too so I can't be reckless when I still have an illness which could act up once in a while.
Not to mention this undeveloped body would not be able to grow properly if I don't take an extra care. I wouldn't want myself be shorter than my previous self and I hated the possibility of having to live with disabilities.
Still, no matter what to say, my body does not have the capability of a mage. I wondered if it's related to my soul which came from a world without magic but for now, I have nothing to say. And while the after-effect of Reinforce was still burdening my steps, I guessed I have gotten used to the heavy strains coiling my body every day.
"-Say, Leon. I wonder how many days have passed ever since we left the Hideout?"
"No idea. I don't give a care."
*WHACK!*-with a light hit at the back of the head, I complained at him for being so ignorant about times. He glared back at me but I was already used to it and so I delivered my words.
"Listen up, you useless little brother. Don't you know that keeping a routine check over your schedule will cause you to be able to sort out your plans? It's important to remember the calendars and you have to maintain your biological clock more efficiently to get best results."
"Gh...! So what!? It doesn't concern me at all!! And who's your little brother?!!"
"Oho? Then when was the last time you have taken a bath again, I wonder?"
The red-headed boy gasped in shock and fear. He immediately tried to run away but I pulled the chain and reeled my little brother in. He struggled like a carp, okay, but as if I cared!!
