Arc One
~Reincarnation, Second Childhood~"Hm... I wonder what I should do..."
As I thought about a piece of paper in my hand, a voice entered from my right ear with a hint of insult.
"Why don't you just write whatever you want? Like becoming a Build Fighter or something."
"Ha ha ha...! Do you want to see jigen-haoh-ryu ougi so much, Haru?"
It didn't take me a moment to send out a straight right to him but the glasses nerd evaded with utmost precision. Damn, he's growing more and more like Terra Formar now.
"Wouldn't it be better if Tori-kun goes to university?" Akashi asked.
"Nah, he's got no brain to even achieve average." Fukaki raised and lowered her shoulders.
Aren't you being harsh there!!? I groaned as my childhood friends continued to shower me with insults. Why!? Even though we've been in the same class from elementary school!!
"I'm not going to go anywhere until Arika is safe, dumbass."
"You hopeless siscon--whoops. That was close."
"Shut up, Haru! I'm just doing what I think is right and you know that too!!"
The guy with black glasses and long, unkempt hair exhaled. Saying "Yeah, yeah~" without any sense of guilt. I clenched my hands but Akashi and Fukaki prevented me from doing Soryuken with Super Mode on.
Then, after a small banter, I exhaled as we reached an intersection with the red lights glaring at us. Hmh... The traffic light for pedestrians here is going to take a while again...
While waiting, Haru leaned to the traffic light pole and saying.
"Well, I'm not going to work so I'll keep myself at home."
"Right, like a Hikikomori you are," Fukaki smirked. "You're no different than a society trash you know, prodigy-kun."
"None of your business. We're not going to stay together for long anyway so why not announcing here?"
...Haa. These people are always like this. It's true that the career survey papers handed out today meant we have to think of our future. Yet I found myself completely having no idea about what I will do once I graduated. Looking at the paper where a name 'Akamaru Toribe' was on the box for name, I heaved a sigh.
"It's still one year from now so why do I have to worry about it...?" I asked to no one in particular.
"The school is trying to support us, Tori-kun. Isn't it a good chance for you to find something you can do for yourself?" Akashi questioned me.
Well... I guess that's true enough. I want to do something such as baking cakes or sweets. Maybe me becoming a patisserie can work but I don't want others to find out I like sweets.
Especially Haru. This bad friend of mine wouldn't want to leave me alone. I doubted he would not take out his camera if he knew I intended to become a patisserie. Why camera? Because he often buried female costumes in his school bag. Such a perverted freak... and I'm his regular victim too...
For the third time, I heaved out a deep sigh and I looked forward.
"Just what the hell am I supposed to do other than fighting?"
"How about becoming a boxer? Or a martial artist?"
"Toribe isn't someone that can stop smiling if he became one. He's a savage alright."
"You have no right to say that, Haru."
I snarled at the genius who could hack even the security firewalls of pentagon. This crazy guy isn't someone I would want to be enemy and the three of you have no right to say that all. We're together and fought almost every time right?
